Pros: NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: Held funds, TMF and horrible service

Pros: None. Cons: Poor customer service, low value placed on customers, no escalation method.
I'm a management consultant with a small business in which I accept credit card payment for in-office services, as well as for information products I sell through a website. I signed a merchant account contract with Pipleline in March 2006. I ...
Pros: NONE Cons: YES, that's it....that is all they do is CON you!!!
As a small biz we opened a merchant acct with Paynet Systems. We noticed an annual fee on our acct, which is contrary to our contract. I called them and they said it could not be reversed. I said, but its not in our contract. I ...
Pros: They accepted my application with college loans out. Cons: they are cons. The "white collar" thief's
To the guy who gave Pipeline data the 3 star rating and said reading is fundamental, youre an idiot and you are probably living off the money that was stolen from my bank account by Pipeline data a.k.a. charge.com. When I first wanted to ...
Pros: lower rate than paypal 2.19% and .25 per transaction Cons: Dishonest and Unreliable
Our company purchased credit card processing from secure pay and pipeline data because their fees were lower than PayPal. We should have stayed with PayPal. Some transactions they take more money than they should. A person used a fake credit card to purchase merchandise from our website. Pipeline data held the money from the transaction and never deposited any money into our account. Then pipeline data direct debited the amount from our checking account even though we had never received any money for the transaction. So they are holding the customer's money and mine. They are also holding 1400.00 of our money in other valid transactions. The fake card transaction happened in April. It is now June and we have called several times on different days. Yesterday we called from 8am to 5pm even tried to call the person the bbb had listed as the president. No response from him. The bbb shows several other complaints listed against this company too in different states. I wish I would have checked the bbb before signing up with this company. I hope this review keeps other companies from getting their money taken by this company.
Hold on to your money. There are better alternatives than this company. I found their practices to be questionable a best. I found it very difficult to even speak to a supervisor. Going through the salesperson at charge.com is a wasted effort as well. It seems they fall back on just a handful of practiced responses.
Pipeline Data Processing is a rip off by noswal10 ,Feb 11 '09
Pros: Absolutely None. Cons: This is a very dishonest company. Do yourself a favor.......Drop them quick!!!!
Has anyone else been hit up with a $150.00 annual "Compliance" Fee?Pipleline held my money, with out any communication regarding this fee. It's really not worth accepting credit cards anymore. The fees are constantly rising, and they hold your money, making you beg to get it, or, go through hoops, or, pay additional fees, to get it.
Shady and possibly illegal behavior. by pigbeach ,Dec 16 '08
Pros: Easy approval, good web-based processing portal. Cons: Customer service and despicable business practices.
I used Charge.com from Pipeline Data Processing for about a year so I could handle the occasional credit card transaction. I had no problems until I submitted my account termination form. So far, they have charged the early termination fee to my account twice and are refusing to refund the second charge. They changed their story and now claim that the first time it was charged, it was actually for "rejects," whatever that means. I have reported them to my bank and my State's Attorney General.
Do not sign up with these scammers! by candygrrl ,Jun 11 '09
Pros: ???Not a one. Cons: Many, many, many.Read all of the reviews about the shady business dealings and steer clear.
I had a feeling that these folks were way out of line when I kept having $$ taken out of my bank account long after I had closed my Pipeline account.(I cancelled after 2 weeks or so and had to keep calling them to remind them I had cancelled.)
2 years later (after absolutely no bills or contact with thse folks) I get a bill from a "collection agency" saying I owe them $200,but I can settle "out of court" for a mere $99.They called my house within the same week and said I was never allowed to cancel my account because the contract was for 3 years.Funny no one ever seemed to mention that when I called to cancel?
Scam.Stay as far away from these con artists as possible.I am contacting the Better Business Bureau. There are laws against this sort of scam.
I am thankful they didn't get away with more of my money like some of the others I have read above.
Awful company holds funds by justaviewer ,Jan 17 '09
Pros: can't think of any. Cons: Hard to contact. Get run around Holds money. High fees. Cancellation fee $300
Pipeline Data has been holding my funds for over a year. They held Over $15,000 in payments during the holidays of 2007. Several months later they released some of them and several months later they released more. Over a year later they are still holding over $1500 for no reason. I have not ever had any chargebacks. This company cost me many thousands of dollars in lost business because I could not pay my suppliers for new product to sell. As an individual business that hurt my annual income over 20%.
Avoid Pipeline Data Processing and Charge.com like the plague by millsy63 ,Mar 29 '09
Pros: Transactions processed and deposted in a speedy manner. Cons: Departments don't communicate Implements outrageous fees Doesn't resolve issues in timely manner
I was with Pipeline Data and Charge.com for about 18 months. This company was terrible. Whenever I called about an issue, no one seem to know what was going on. They would pass you off to 5 different departments without anyone being of much help. The biggest reason to avoid this company is that they hook you for a 3 year contract and then create and add additional fees after you commit. They implemented a $170 a year "security processing fee" after signing. I was so angry with this company that I opted the $300 buy-out to get out of my contract.
Pros: If you sign on with them expect to be an eventual victim. Cons: What they are doing has to be illegal.
Call me the sucker. I received word today they are suspending my account for an audit and in 6 months I can contact them to get the $900 in reserve and $1500 in recent orders they are withholding payment. I have another option to process cards so said I want all $1500 orders cancelled as I can not ship merchandise unpaid. He said no refunds can be processed. I immediately notified my bank to put stop payments on any withdrawels from them and plan to tell these customers to do chargebacks on these orders. How can they think it is ok to refuse to refund a purchase that they didn't even settle? I also contacted Visa & Mastercard direct. It really seems to me that this is a disservice to the card holders.
Stay Far Away! Something tells me this will be a never ending nightmare.
Pipeline Data Processing SUCKS! by ksaim ,Feb 12 '09
Pros: Not a single PRO! Cons: Everything! No help from them-only charge after charge after charge.
Do not sign up to do business with this company. They are only interested in bilking you for money - not actually helping you do business. They will find any way possible to charge you for things you don't even need. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!
Pipeline Data Processing / Integrated Payment Solutions - possible scam by ca_biz ,Jan 03 '09
Pros: None Cons: This company cannot be trusted.
Pipeline Data was part of a contract I had with another company to provide a small amount of merchant transactions. The endeavor never took off, and I canceled the account in 2003 with no account issues. Just today (1/3/2009), I get a threatening letter from them saying my (long defunct) business has merchant account rejects, and they request a payment of $249 or they will report me to "all three major credit bureaus." I don't know if this is actually a shake-down or an honest mistake, but I ask you, is this the type of company you want handling your financial transactions?
Seizes thousands of dollars then mocks small merchants as they try to recover their money. by ecoarizona ,Nov 13 '07
Pros: None. Dealing with them is an ongoing nightmare. Cons: Operating income is in jeopardy at all times.
I have just had my business shut down by Charge.com/Pipeline Data Processing who helped themselves to almost $10,000 in operating income.
Responses to complaints are snide and untruthful. The complaints with BBB are astonishing, and the BBB Rating is a flat "F" based on suspicions regarding the nature of their business activities.
Shame on us for not checking that out earlier. We lost $10,000 we must sue to recover. Apparently we are not the first.
This is a scary enterprise. Have your bank recommend a reputable card processor.
