Pros: I had too much info here, so I pasted it up top. Cons: I had too much info here, so I pasted it up top.
I joined the PF in Danvers about a year and a half ago. I loved it. They had huge fans going during the summer, it was well lit and all the machines worked great. I heard that one opened up in Somerville, so since Somerville was about 10 miles closer ...

Pros: cheap fees, unlimited tanning Cons: very busy if you want to actually work out, hope you like to wait.
I joined PF about a year ago and initially was happy with my $10/month fee. It was busy but it thinned out around 7pm. In January, PF got their usual influx of members with new year's resolutions. I figured it would thin out around February. Not ...

Pros: Brand new facility Cons: No squat rack, no clips on the bars, dumbells only go up to 75 pounds...
I went to PF in Oviedo, FL, with a friend for several weeks until we were told that a gym bag on the floor was a safety hazard and a violation of their policies. This was surprising as there were no clips on the bench press bars. When this was brought ...

Pros: $10 a month membership, cheap down payment, no contract, accommodating hours.
Cons: Parking sucks, owners are lazy, rude management, filthy place.
I've been a member of Planet Fitness in falls church, VA since it converted from its previous chain, Olympus, and paying less money per month might be a bonus for most but it is not worthy putting up with the filthy premises, rude management team, and ...

Pros: Good equipment
Plenty of cardio machines
Clean Cons: Rules not handed out
High handed treatment of customers
Not a warm, friendly atmosphere
This pertains to my experience at the Planet Fitness facility located at 475 Albany Shaker Road in Loudonville, NY. There may be other fitness locations to which this critique does not apply; however, this has been a disappointment to say the least. ...

Pros: absolutely none Cons: poor accounting, too distant to drive to
First, you must pay in advance for the ensuing month ($10.60) There is a hefty fee for missed payments ($10). They do not pro-rate for the following month, so the following month's fee is due. If you want to cancel, watch out...you must cancel a few days ...

Pros: There is absolutely nothing that is positive about my experience about or with Planet Fitness. Cons: Insensitive, uncaring, money hungry. There is nothing about PF that I want in my life.
Joined Planet Fitness in June of 2006 for $19.99 p/month. I joined this gym because of its mantra of "judgement free zone" and the feeling that they truly cared about me. Within two weeks of my joining I tore my ACL and, per my surgeon, could not utilize ...

Pros: Clean, roomy, plenty of cardio, free weights, cable machines, weight and ab benches. Great price. Cons: I admit it's hard not to grunt (LOL!).
I'm really happy with my Planet Fitness. It's clean, roomy and well-equipped. The atmosphere is good for FITNESS. I do a cardio machine to start (5 types of machines available, including treadmills) then mostly free weights and cables, focussing on one ...

Pros: cheap Cons: no classes, child care, no racquetball and basketball courts, over-crowded, can't cancel my membership
I was a World Gym member for years and loved the yoga, spin, circuit training, and cardio classes. I had a personal trainer off and on who helped me with weight training and I was there at the gym 3 - 4 times a week. When Planet Fitness took over ...

Pros: I thought it would be a good idea... Cons: Unwelcoming, intimidating, and OVERCHARGING
I joined Planet Fitness because it was cheap, however, they continued to charge me after I terminated my membership. When confronted with the evidence, the impotent store manager could not refund my money because it had already been processed. Clearly, ...

Pros: New equipment, good hours Cons: The fee structure increases your real costs quickly.
They need to clean more often.
The cardio equipment is high-end, $6K treadmills. They have small LCD TVs in front of each treadmill which makes working out more enjoyable because you can watch your own programs. The muscle building/toning machines are not as high quality as you find ...

Pros: Lots of cardio with TV's. Equipment and people not intimidating. Cons: If you are a bodybuilder looking for extremes in weights, not for you.
A great place for an everyday person to work out. Barebones. Equipment. No fluff, no frills. No classes, no daycare--which is great as I don't need it. The weights don't go very high, so NOT FOR BODY BUILDERS. More for the ...

Pros: cheap Cons: to many to mention
This gym is HORRIBLE...I was in there the other day.....working out with some free weights...and I dropped one...totally accidental, just happened to slip out of my hand. GOD FORBIDE! The owner of the facility rings an alarm...that sounds like a siren ...

Pros: The equipment is ok. Cons: Personal trainer is rude and lacks experience-although he would try to convince you otherwise.
Planet Fitness Orange City, Fl the judgment zone!! I joined the Planet Fitness club near my house in Orange City, Florida and I regret doing so. From the very start the personal trainer humiliated everyone by yelling out in front of the whole gym that ...

Pros: not crowded, no one will bother you Cons: rude, unknowledgeable employees
They lied to me time after time!! When I joined I asked for the $10 plan and was told it didnt exist that I had to do the $20 plan. I recently was told by an employee that when I signed up it did exist and the person who did it is no longer working ...
