Pokemon Sapphire - The rebirth of a dying series

by Rock_On Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Mar 17 '03
Pros: new Pokemon are pretty cool (Aggron!!), better graphics, better sound, 2on2 battles
Cons: no Team Rocket, not backward compatible with previous versions, only Ruby
I remember when I had first heard about Pokemon, in one of the issues of Nintendo Power, where they had a special section about a new Japanese game called Pocket Monsters, which translates into the US name - Pokemon. I even thought that the idea...

Pokémon Sapphire: Sapphire Is Not Just A Fancy Color Of Blue

by jeremy1456 jeremy1456 is a Lead on Epinions in Games, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Mar 16 '03
Pros: New Pokemon, More Variety Between Versions, Good Graphics, Difficult
Cons: Can't Transfer Pokemon From The Older Versions
When it comes to the topic of Pokemon there are three kinds of people; those who abhor it, those who love it, and also the kind of people who love it, but would sooner die than let anyone know that they like it. While Pokemon was one of the biggest...

Cons: Just about all of the new Pokemon look queer
Throughout the past six years Pokemon RPG's have been some of the best sellers for Gameboy and Gameboy Color. It started with Red/Blue versions, one year after that Yellow came out, then Gold/Silver and soon after that was Crystal. With each of them...

by tommy_lop Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Sep 11 '04
Pros: it's a great game
Cons: a little over weliming at pieces.
Ok I made a mistake when I bought this game I wanted to wait a few months after it’s release last year for the GBA player to come out so I could play it on the TV screen, mainly because the classic GBA gives you a headache after playing it for more then ...

Pokemon Sapphire-best GBA's RPG game

by minhhon , Aug 07 '07
Pros: very detailed and colorful
Cons: somewhat difficult/complex
I have played pokemon's GBA games long long time ago, since the version of red/blue and then yellow followed by crystal/gold and now it's sapphire/ruby. All of them are kind of RPG games-role playing games, begin with main character, can be a boy or a ...

Just when you thought the Pokemon franchise was done and over with, the bastards at Nintendo brought us another scoop of the popular yesteryear fanatical series of Pokemon. Is the Pokemon franchise still good? Yes, even after its debut years back, it is...

Pokemon...It's Back, But...Does Anyone Care?

by wandering_mage , Apr 01 '03
Pros: Graphics, 2-2 battles, new Hoenn, no phone numbers.
Cons: Same ol' same ol'
Ever since Pokemon Red & Blue, all I’ve heard from my stupid little brother is “YES! I CAUGHT IT!” and that brain juice draining music from the pathetic GB Pocket. After a few years of having quite enough; the shows, the movies, the comics,...

The best value on the GBA in terms of playability!

by saraab , Feb 13 '04
Pros: Infinite replayability, new pokemon and features are great, replayable trainer battles.
Cons: Not compatible with the gbc games, not all pokemon can be caught in one game.
First of all i will say this game has to be the best entertainment value on the GBA, and there are many ways to play this game as well, you can just play for the story, or you can play for the technical aspects of the game such as raising for perfect ...

Pokemon ISN'T Dead

Pros: Male & Female Characters New Pokemon New Gadgets
Cons: None
Well, it has been approximately 4 years since the initial Pokemon phase has worn out. After Pokemon Yellow, things sorta wore out, for the exception of Pokemon Puzzle League, the games after Yellow were pathetic and repetitive. But now, Finally moving...

Pokemon sapphire is the best
by ridgie ,Jan 22 '04
Pros: sound is perfect, game play is great.
Cons: it could be better if the game had a lot more badges to collect.
Pokemon Sapphire is the best because there are a few different Pokemon that you can catch and they are a lot better than the ones you can’t catch but are on Pokemon Ruby. all you Pokemon fans might think they are both the same, they are in a way but to me and other people I know that have played them think sapphire is much better.

Pokemon Ruby is the best...
by rocky_dt3001 ,Mar 17 '03
Pokemon Ruby is the best game i have ever played. If your a fan of Pokemon then you won't be able to stop playing when you pick up your gameboy advance. The game performed just as i expected. It was excelent. The sound graphics were all good. You even see your reflection in the water!! I dislike nothing about it. I would recomend it to anyone who loves Pokemon. It is far better then the old verdions and its worth your money believe me.

Pros: brand new Pokemon, excellent graphics, great sound effects, great gameplay.
Cons: game forces you to team up with team magma. no team rocket
In this new edition of Pokemon, it introduces new and more fascinating Pokemon which enables you to travel around the region of Hoenn and to have more exciting battles with other trainers and gym leaders. The graphics in the game are very impressive and the gameplay will have you hooked. Pokemon sapphire also allows you to have the new feature of two vs. two Pokemon battle while against other players. Pokemon sapphire being one of the latest Pokemon games on gameboy advance, proves to be one of the very best. Pokemon sapphire also has the rarest, Pokemon for you to capture and to become a Pokemon master...
