Reboot for PlayStation 1

Pros: Looks like ReBoot, the series, clever problems
Cons: Absence of saves, way too hard

Not my kind of game (jumping) but I like the series so I played it recently. The lack of any saves within the levels is a REAL problem. This is a game with 19 levels where mostly it is necessary to explode a "tear" with a glitch gun and then find keys to advance. A third person perspective. The character moves about on a sort of a skate board that is very different to control. The levels are sufficiently interesting and look like the enviorments of "Mainframe" from the TV series. The first three levels were sort of fun once familiarity with the controls was achieved and he objectives were clear but from level four the requirements were just too tough ( not enough ammo or health and too many complicated jumps) . The tears also have to be eliminated within a strict time limit. I had need to resort to cheats to finish the game. There are some good movies and cut scenes within ReBoot, but the difficulty level takes the rating from good to beware.
