Resolve Triple Action Carpet Cleaner
by judyuzzetta ,Nov 24 '06
Pros: It has worked well on every kind of carpet stain I've tried it on. Cons: No cons. It's great stuff!
Last Spring, I moved into a new house. There were terrible, dirty stains on the carpet. I had a professional carpet cleaning service in twice to clean, but the stains just came back as soon as the carpet dried. I thought I'd have to get new carpet. I'd always used Resolve Triple Action Carpet Cleaner at my last residence with great results, so I figured I might as well try it. I was amazed that it completely removed the dirty stains with just one application. These stains were in high-traffic areas, and even though we walk on the previously-stained areas constantly, the stains have not reappeared. Resolve is incredible!

Resolve works on soap scum and tile & grout
by greeneclean ,May 23 '06
Pros: Triple Action Resolve has a nice scent, no harsh fumes & gentle on hands. Cons: Revealing your secret to the public. :-)
While searching to find a cleaner to remove soap scum off of glass shower doors I came across a comment from a consumer. I personally have tried a number of products; I even used a flat edge razor to shave off caked soap scum since nothing else seems to do the job. A bottle of Resolve carpet stain remover was all that was needed. With no effort at all Resolve did the trick! Spray, wipe with a stainless steel sponge, as this will not scratch the glass, and rinse results in every bit of soap scum to come off without any harsh scrubbing action. Resolve works great on soiled tile and grout too with the use of a grout brush. This has been a blessing not to mention the time & effort it saves.

This product will never enter our home again!
by moresavvy ,Sep 15 '05
Pros: Using it showed me what products WON'T enter my home again. Cons: Incredibly hazardous to your health, in ways the label warnings won't tell you. Beware.
We bought this product to clean tough food and urine stains on light carpet. It seemed to help remove stains, but the negative effects on our health are not worth any cleaning benefits! The fumes were horrendous especially in the room where the product was used. Within a few hours my trached, medically fragile daughter developed a cyst-like bump the size of a nickel at her trach site (and shrunk back down the next day). My husband developed headaches and nausea and I had trouble with my eyes and balance. Coincidence? No. My husband and I are healthy and rarely sick. I KNOW the chemicals in this terrible product affected my brain and its ability to interpret what my eyes were seeing; I was still having trouble after going outside for fresh air. I am horrified that I subjected my family to such a hazardous product and will be much more vigilant in the future.

ultimate stain remover
by egyptjenn ,Sep 09 '05
Pros: works great removing stains from clothes Cons: cant think of one
I have never used Resolve to get a stain out of the carpet. I always use it to get stains out of my clothes. It doesn't stain my clothes or draw out the color at all. Follow the directions on the spray bottle or aerosol can as you would for carpet. I've gotten months old ink (from a tattoo) out as well as food stains and whatever else. I try to inform everyone of how well it works on your clothes!

Ruined 2 rugs - Costs $1,800 per use
by cvandoren ,Jul 10 '05
Pros: Removes stains Cons: Ruins the rug in the process
I used the foam to get stains from two light colored carpets in my house. Stain gone. Great!
Except... Now the areas I used the resolve attract dirt like a magnet. The exact areas I sprayed the resolve are now brown stains on the carpet. Really bad stains. I have had them professionally cleaned twice, to no use. I now have to replace the carpets, one of which is 23x12 and was 15 months old.
God I love this stuff!

Removed blood stains from cream-colored carpet
by mimiwill ,Oct 05 '04
Pros: Removes blood easily and completely if directions are followed Cons: Spray nozzle sometimes requires several pumps to work; too much Resolve will leave a puddle
Not one week after we installed cream-colored plush carpet, our cat huntress brought a rat inside, secluded herself in a walk-in closet and proceeded to devour her prey, leaving only blood stains and a tuft of rat hair as witness to the massacre. When we discovered the remains, I reached for my trusty spray bottle of Resolve, hoping for the best, but not expecting much, because the stains had been there several days.
I followed the directions carefully, spraying only a very small amount, waiting 3 minutes, and blotting (not scrubbing) the stain with a clean sponge. After two applications, the stains were gone with no trace. Yippee!
