Red Octane Ignition Dance Pad

Cons: Doesn't work for XBox

If you want to use this for the PS2 only, it's great. However, we are now on our 4th pad and not a single one works correctly when used with XBox. We took the first three back to Gamestop and then sent the last one directly back to the Red Octane company. The customer service person told us this is a recurring problem but implied that it is only a problem in certain regions of the country because of the way the games are stored in the warehouse. Well they shipped us one from their own store and it doesn't work either! Works GREAT in PS2 and if it worked in XBox it would be a great thing because it's so much nicer than the regular pads but for $100 the thing should work in both modes.

I bought a red octane ignition pad since I had just purchase my Dance Dance Revolution game, and wanted a good pad to go with it. This dancing pad, is by far the greatest of all dancing pads available to consumers today. it works wonderful, it hasn't broken after 2 years of use, and it is in wonderful condition. i continue hearing my friends complain about how their pads have been torn, scratched and broken, only a couple of weeks after purchase, but that is because they did not purchase a red octane pad. i play my dance dance revolution game about 3-4 times a week, about 1 hour and a half every day, and have not had a problem yet. my single complaint is that the pad was a bit expensive, and could have been a little cheaper. but i guess it's definitely worth the price.
