Pros: Beautiful ship, clean, nice cabins Cons: HORRIBLE service! The absolute worst!
Update: After speaking with the cruise lines about our trip, being told that we would receive a return phone call, letters, etc. We were told that Oceania is going to do NOTHING to keep us as a customer. I would highly recommend that you do not sail on ...

Pros: Service was efficient, food was fresh and wonderfully prepared, staterooms were comfortable, everyone was friendly Cons: Entertainment was sometimes weak.
We recently returned from a 14-day cruise to Central America on the Regatta with Oceania Cruise Line. We were initially attracted to the itinerary... Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia and the Grand Caymans. However, after just a ...

Pros: Service staff...food quality.....clean ship....limited passenger size (640) to 400 staff. Cons: Veranda rooms are average size for class with bathrooms that could be larger
I don't know where the previous writer went on their cruise, and maybe since we took our cruise in May of 2007, the situation may have changed. we spent 12 days on this trip (for the second time) and traveled most of Italy with stops in Croatia and ...

just returned from the Nautica
by peyco ,May 18 '09
Pros: Just outstanding employes, everyday of the trip. Booked a new trip August 2010. Great! Great! Cons: Computers need a speed upgrade. I was told they need a wider ban .
Had the best trip of our life time on the Oceania Nautica from Hong Kong to Athens. Suite was the best, help was outstanding from the Captain to the staff and waiters. They were friendly and courteous and spoiled us every day of the trip. We have traveled on other lines as Seabourn,Crystal,The World.and Silverseas and they have a lot to learn from the Oceania Nautica. Food was outstanding. Polo,Toscana a must try. Ports were fabulous Hong Kong,Singapore,Phuket, also visited the Taj Mahal in India,Petra in Jordan and the Pyramids and Sphinx in Egypt. I give the trip a 99 out of a 100.

The Oceania was the best cruise we ever took!!!
by melissarenee10 ,Jul 24 '08
Pros: Fabulous food, warm and friendly staff, beautiful ship. Cons: 12 days was too short!
I cannot believe the misfortune of one of the reviewers. We took an Oceania Med. Cruise in April 2008 (Regatta) and it was spectacular. the service was exquisite, the ship was clean and beautiful! The food, some of the best I have had on board and we have cruised 25 times! We had the 'concierge floor' but plan to go back and book an 8th floor, mini penthouse cabin with a butler!
One of the highlights of the whole process was the Oceania booking team at their offices. Iwas always able to reach the same 'vacation consultant' and aways got straight answers to my many, many questions!
We boarded easily as it is a smaller ship, but felt like a grand ship once inside. Disembarking was easy as well, and the side trips, while a bit pricey, were quite good with great English speaking guides.

Transatlantic Crossing - Superb!
by mumesita ,Nov 26 '08
Pros: Crew outstanding. Food delicious . Kami's needlepoint classes and free kits great. Cons: Would like 2 shows, 9:45 is too late.
Sell travel mugs on the ship.
I just returned from the Transatlantic Crossing cruise - Barcelona to Miami - stopping in Tangier, Madeira and Bermuda - 5 days at sea. I have read the earlier reviews and must say that I have no complaints about any of the services and amenities on the Regatta nor did any of the other 3 members of our party. The crew were more than willing to comply with any request that was made of them - in fact, it seemed to us that they could not do enough - they were more than willing to go that extra step to make sure that our stay on board was the best it could be. The food was outstanding. Their entertainment staff was excellent and everyone, from the Captain on down, was friendly and approachable. Smiles were everywhere - both passengers and crew. If someone is not satisfied with their overall experience, I would say that they would probably not be satisfied with anything. Thank you to the staff and crew on the Regatta - it was an excellent and memorable holiday from beginning to end.
