I bought the Spot Magic by mistake - I admit it. I meant to get the regular Resolve, which works great BTW. I was dogsitting a friend's dog, who marked. A lot - everything in the house was fair game to this guy!

Anyways, it worked great on some other spots I had on the carpet, but it didn't work at all on pet urine spots. It did bleach a spot on my carpet, so be sure to do the spot-test. This apparently is a more important step in the process that I previously thought.

It had a very strong chemical odor - my husband noticed it as soon as he got home, which was several hours after I used it.

I will keep this can until it runs out. Not sure if I would buy another one, just because the majority of our carpet problems are due to the 3 dogs, not the 2 adults.

It seems that I am constantly using Resolve Spot Magic on my carpet since my cat is older and makes some 'messes' more often, and the Resolve does work great; however, about the 3 of the last 10 cans I have bought and used, I have had problems with the spray nozzle. I am able to use about half the can, then the sprayer does not work anymore and it only comes out it drips, if any at all. There will need to be some type of improvements made to the can before I decide to buy anymore Resolve, if though it does work great on cleaning up my cat's messes!
