Pros: easy to learn; fun to play; good re-play value; nice visuals.
Cons: Not quite as challenging as it should be; controls are a little stiff.

Pros: Non-stop shooting action; smooth animation; bright graphics; great controls; challenging
Cons: Simply concept might ware thin for some
Summary: I figure I'll play my Atari 2600 until the day I drop dead, and River Raid is one of those titles that makes me so enthusiastic about the old system. This game offers classic goodness in spades and is a title every Atari enthusiast should own. ... read more
