Pros: liquid contents stay secure when travelling Cons: one straw per box - not very sanitary with daily use
My now eight year-old son has been attending feeding therapy for 1.5 years now. The process is slow and steady. Several months ago the Occupational Therapist (OT), showed me the Rubbermaid Servin' Saver Juice Box before attempting to use it ...

Frustrating to use and often leaking
by braultd ,Apr 07 '09
Pros: Good idea, maybe the best one out there. Cons: Leaks air through spout. Gets dirty quickly and impossible to clean thoroughly.
While it may work for the first week, quickly develops air leaks which prevents drink from flowing. Will suck more air than juice. Problem lies with the rubber seal against the pivoting spout. Can forcibly remove the spout and put a little vaseline to condition the rubber and keep a better seal, but not easy (and do you really want to dring vaseline?). Also, difficult if not impossible to clean properly, even using q-tips! A good idea, but it does not work for long!

Leaks all over
by mikebridge ,Sep 09 '08
Pros: None Cons: Will not seal under any circumstances.
We bought three of these, and they all leak all over no matter how tightly or loosely you screw the lids on. We thought we could use them for lunches, but every time we ended up with juice all over everything.
The cheap plastic bottle probably cost about two cents to produce---for another couple cents they could have included a rubber seal which would have fixed the problem.
These all went in the recycling.

the best thing for lunches since sliced bread!
by mississippimor ,Aug 09 '06
Pros: easy to use, easy to clean Cons: straws need replacing after so many uses
This juice box has saved lunchtime for us. My child, while picky, has certain things he gets stuck on (like drinking a certain juice not available at school.) I send his current favorite in this reusable juice box and everyone is happy! It doesn't leak and is dishwasher safe. The only complaint I have is that I have to order replacement straws for it from Rubbermaid (they are cheap though!) I wish I was able to get them in stores!

Love these Rubbermaid Juice Boxes!
by firstfamily ,Sep 30 '09
Pros: NEVER Leaks! Dishwasher safe! Cons: Need more color choices!
We were constantly searching for leakproof child proof drink containers that were for 'big kids'! These have been the greatest find and solution! My 2 girls use these all the time...around home, outside, @ the pool and always in their lunchboxes. I am always on the hunt for them on sale at local grocery chains. I also have several of the 16 oz size that my oldest daughter takes for lunch. I am for the first time ordering replacement straws due to misplacing a couple. They are longlasting!
