Pros: A charming and fascinating adventure of a latter day British equivalent of Perry Mason.
Cons: Like James Bond movies, you feel a little let down when it ends.
If you haven't read the Rumpole mysteries, nor seen them on PBS/BBC (circa 1990, starring Leo McKern), you should read the first three anthologies (available in paperback -- and the BBC dramatizations are available on videotape and DVD) and maybe the ...
