Pros: No running out of Mouse Pad, no "ball" to clean, no wrist pain! Cons: Very slightly less control than a mouse.

Pros: Simple, comfortable, accurate, dependable, and they take much less space than a mouse. Cons: Not a single drawback.

Pros: no moving parts,ambidextrous, extremely reliable,lightweight, very compact Cons: may have to adapt from mouse use habits
