The Panasonic drive delivers quadruple-speed CD-ROM data access plus support for multisession Photo CD, CD-ROM XA, and audio CD. It can run off a tiny AC power supply (included), six AA batteries, or an optional rechargeable power pack. With a status LCD and push-button controls for play, pause, and track control, the drive can also operate as a stand-alone audio-CD player.??The drive comes in a slim, wedge-shaped chassis about as thick as a pack of cigarettes and weighing about a pound with batteries.
