Ports are locked
by acoy ,Nov 05 '05
Pros: Good for very general web surfing Cons: With closed ports, VPN and ability to access secured databases is not possible.
This router works fine for general web surfing, however if you plan on using it with a VPN or other databases that require a password sign in, forget it. They don't let you know this, but the ports are closed. 20+ phone calls later my ports were opened but I still was not able to access the systems in my office that I needed to. I'm no longer using this router.
