Pros: A versatile burner, fast enough for most burning tasks and easy to use.
Cons: It is an internal device and you must open the case to install it.

Samsung (SH-S162L/BEBN) DVD±RW Burner

Pros: Cheap
Reads/writes even the lowest quality DVD
Dependable
Cons: none
This drive is simply amazing. I bought some blank DVD's and realized they are mediocre quality but it still managed to burn successfully about 8 of 10 of these things. Problem is, which is ironic, that what this drive can read/write may not be readable in other drives.
Not only is this thing dependable but its cheap. My next drive will definitely be a Samsung.
