Pros: great picture, lots of inputs, good menu options Cons: speaker sound vibration, source switching
Evolution of a Big Screen Decision - 42" Plasma to 46" LCD When I first started looking at big screens in early 2006, a 42" Panasonic EDTV Plasma was about $2,000 (Cdn), and the HD version (not full HD) was around $3,000 (Cdn). That was too much ...

Pros: Vivid Colours, Sleek Design, Value For Dollar, Easy Setup, Samsung Reliability, Lots of Inputs Cons: Some challenges during menu navigation, long and slim remote control, basic speakers
Its Hard to be Better When Youre This Good I have never had a problem with my old television. I mean, it displayed all 181 channelsmost of them in colour, it had a remote control, and the picture was so crisp I could almost ...

Pros: Good picture, okay sound, good number of inputs Cons: Minor problem with component input
I bought this TV on sale for $1650. For an extra $200 I could have gone up to the LN-T4665F and it's sexy 15,000:1 contrast ratio but decided not to. The ultimate reason is that I was putting the TV in a room with many windows. The LN-T4665F has a ...

Pros: Great Pic & value, rated #1 by consumers report, lots of inputs, great blacks Cons: a bit jaggedy and artifacts on Std Def.
Got the Sammy 46 1080p in Nov. Didn’t need a new TV as I already have 6 other sets including a Sony 43” HD projection, 32” LCD, a couple of 27” Sony Tubes etc…. There was a deal I could not refuse and it was on this highly rated set. A pricing error ...

Pros: Great picture, sleek look, easy menus Cons: No built-in speakers, but if you have a TV this nice, you have stereo components.
The Samsung 46 inch LCD television is to me a work of art and a testament to how television technology has matured and become more accessible in the past 10 years. The LCD is my second Samsung flat panel television. In 2003, I purchased a 42 inch ...

Great TV
by snjoffline ,Nov 06 '07
Pros: Contrast Ratio, plenty of inputs for expandability Cons: Some speaker vibration at high volumes; when switching inputs some occassional quick whitenoise
Picked this up in 9/07 and have been very pleased. Vibrant colors and great form factor. Plenty of inputs, sleak design. Built in HD Tuner should you want to grab HD programming over the air. Pixar flics look spectacular and theres nothing like gaming in 1080I!!
