  • Every 'Santa' needs one.

    Nov 20 '01
Pros: Legible screen, large touch pad with full function Palm OS, and high quality digital phone.
Cons: If you have big fingers, you'll need to use the stylus to make phone calls.

Summary: It's the perfect stocking stuffer...oh, wait a minute...I think you'll need to stuff one of these in your pocket before the holidays arrive. Because everyone knows, 'Santa' will be busy communicating with the elves to fulfill those holiday wishlists, ... read more

Cons: Hard to use one-handed; Goes to sleep (screen) while on speakerphone.

  • Hello ... your Palm is ringing

    Nov 03 '01
Pros: Converges phone and PDA - no more carrying two devices, speakerphone, excellent sound quality.
Cons: Screen could use a bit of help, Palm/Phone integration not 100% yet

Summary: Hi, you can call me Batman. At least, that's what my friends have taken to calling me from time to time. Why do they do this? Is it because I'm a wealthy multi-billionaire with a secret crime-fighting alter-ego? Hardly. Is it ... read more

  • Wow! Buy this phone.

    Oct 17 '01
Pros: All-in-1, thin, great speakerphone, 8 MB and color, OS 3.5.1
Cons: A little too big, some problems with 3d party apps, bugs, stylus problems

Summary: I've only been using this phone for 2 days, so my review will be somewhat limited. First, let me say this: the pictures on samsung.com don't do this phone justice. It's a lot smaller than you think -- especially if you were turned off by the Kyocera ... read more

  • Love this phone

    Oct 14 '01
Pros: Finally! A successful marriage of a Palm and Cell Phone.
Cons: Few. Battery life is good, but a daily charge is needed.

Summary: I was always frustrated by the need to carry my cell phone and Palm. This phone combines both devices in a compact and useful device. No longer will I need to input phone numbers into a new cell phone. *** Great Features *** -- ... read more

    Aug 30 '01
Pros: More Palm than Phone, Color screen, ergonomically designed. Very Cool
Cons: Some phone functions are awkward – list scrolling in particular. Low battery life.

Summary: So close!! Four months ago I reviewed the Kyocera QCP6035 Smartphone and said at the time it needed one more release and a color screen. Samsung so nearly got it right. But, to quote General Schwartzkopf “Good enough is sometimes good enough”. ... read more
