Pros: Beautiful looks. Sturdy. Good battery life. Gadgets and gizmos. Loud speakerphone. Cons: Camera light's a joke. Buddy's a rat. What, all this stuff and no Bluetooth?
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm a Sanyo man. My days with Sanyo date waaaaay back to the old "Snicker-sized" SCP-4000. My next model, the SCP-5300 (the first camera phone), was a bit of a letdown: it seemed to lack the quality I had ...
Pros: Feel, look, battery life, has all available Sprint options, durable, friendly interface, excellent phone Cons: No Bluetooth (and hey, we can work around that).
My Experience with Cell Phones From May of 2004 up until a few weeks ago, I worked at the Shack. I sold Sprint and Verizon phones, averaging about 1 sale per day (small store). Still, that's a lot of phones. One gets to know them intimately. ...
Pros: Lots of features. Looks good. Tough appearance. Lots of potential. Cons: No Bluetooth, No mega-pixel camera.
I bought this phone about 8 months ago. I purchased it because it seemed to have the most Features of any Sprint phone without stepping up to one of those bulky PDA's. This phone has the Push to talk (walkie talkie), It has a still camera, a video ...
Pros: Looks, durability, weight, reception, speaker phone, volume, Java API support, blue back-lit buttons. Cons: Side buttons, no 1.2MP camera, poor space for ringers/applications, no PC data synch.
The rat buddy was a waste of space that could have been used for more ringers and application downloads. Could use a 1.2MP camera since most pictures turn out as blurred representation of only some features unless it is a close-up. "Honestly, there ...
Pros: Sturdy and reliable. Scratch and Dent Resistant. Cons: Bad speaker phone. No Bluetooth.
Obviously judging by my title of this review I am satisfied with this particular phone. I usually don't write reviews on a consistant basis unless I feel it is needed in order to inform my fellow consumers about an incredibly good or bad product. When ...
Pros: Great all around product...meets the needs of most people...for pleasure or business... Cons: No Bluetooth...but that is not a priorty...
After spending 7 years with Motorola / Verizon it was time for a change...and the Sanyo MM-7400 / Sprint combo goes the distance...the MM-7400 has excellent reception...voice charity...loud ringers / speaker...great user functions...it's an attractive phone at attracts attention...the combo Sanyo MM-7400 / Sprint PCS serves all my everyday needs and business uses...I thought I'd never find I phone I liked as much as the old Moto StarTac...nor did I think I could have great coverage without Verizon...well that has changed...the Sanyo MM-7400 on the Fair & Flexible America Plan has freed me and proven the Sanyo / Sprint combo is awesome....
Great Phone - But Splurge on the Sanyo 5600! by shannonf ,Apr 13 '05
Pros: Great looking phone, changeable face plates. Cons: For a little more money you can get more phone in the Sanyo 5600!
This is a cool phone, no doubt about it. It was one of the first phones that incorporated a Camera, Video Camera, and Multimedia functions. Like any new product that hits the market, wait about a year, and it is perfected a little more.......and that is what has happened. For the money...great phone but for the money......I would splurge for the newest model Sanyo, the 5600! The Camera is a little better on the 5600, a 1.3 mexapixel, and the multimedia function is a little smoother. However missing on the 7400 is the MP3 player with a miniSD card that is included, with a 2.5mm stereo headset that will allow you to switch from music to incoming calls. There is a camera macro switch on the 5600 which will allow extreme close ups-
and for pictures taken in full light- it is amazing and the 5600 also includes a USB cable, so you can send the pics to your computer and also print them off.
