This is probably the best choice on the market for the amature who wants good results. The Digital ICE feature sets it apart from cheaper scanners.

I've had this scanner for a few years now and have been mostly unhappy with it. The software often cannot find the scanner . . .

Out of the box I had a hardware problem [self-test failed]. 24/7 Tech Rep was useless and arrogant. Told me these scanners . . .
