Pros: Thick, tough as nails, but soft as cotton.
Cons: A little pricey to be throwing it all away!

  • It IS "common sense on a roll"

    Oct 25 '03
Pros: more storage space freed up; less roll changing; less likely to be "stranded"; cheaper
Cons: fewer toilet paper rolls for school projects or small pets to play with

Summary: Well, I never thought I'd be this enthusiastic about toilet paper, but after scrolling through some reviews about this brand, I went to Walmart and bought one roll of Scott for 77 cents. That was last week. I'm still working on that roll. By now, using ... read more

  • Soft and Gentle, but tough enough to get the Job Done

  • I won't buy Scott anymore, after 30-40 years of buying it

    Aug 09 '11
Pros: It's a famous name brand.
Cons: The reformulated product is worthless.

Summary: They've reformulated it, and it disintegrates in your hands as you're wiping yourself.  That may be good for septic tanks, but I live in the city.  I want it to hold together for the length of time I'm wiping

  • "New Stronger" Tissue. Might be good for their bottom end but not for mine

    Oct 15 '10
Pros: I still think it's the best. easy on the plumbing, both yours and the houses.
Cons: Less Tissue. That may be good for their bottom end but not for mine.

Summary: I've been using Scott tissue for as long as I can remember and I'm getting old so I'm not sure if I can remember how long that is and I'm always scepticle about anything "New" - "Softer" - "Stronger", you get the point. Well, when I opened the first

  • Sadly, Scotts is no longer a quality product - transparent, sheets and small rolls,

Cons: Poor quality, cheap product, overpriced when quality and size factored in.

Summary: Scotts used to be the best on the market IMO, however in the last 6 months (Jan 2009) they changed the product dramatically. The tissues appear to me to be much smaller (so price per sheet goes down if you shop by unit price and deceives you that the

Cons: NEW PRODUCT IS FLIMSY AND THIN-- TEARS EASILY AND DISSOLVES!!!

Summary: We have been using Scott tissue for years and the last 2 packages we have gotten have been totally different-- it is like the 1 ply of a 2 ply -- at first i thought we just got a bad roll-- but after the 2nd pack was the same we realized they have

  • Scott paper has changed, it seems, but not for a better buy for the consumer.

    Apr 03 '06
Pros: The paper is softer, as claimed, continues to be 1000 sheets per roll.
Cons: The toilet paper feels flimsier, takes more paper to accomplish the task.

Summary: Scott single-ply toilet paper in the 1000-sheet roll has been used in our household for more than 20 years, the package size changing with the number of family members living at home. We have always found it the best buy in terms of a roll lasting
