Pros: Poetry, and to analyze beyond that would be sickness on the level of a vivisectionist slicing into a bird because it was beautiful
Cons: Tears

Scrambled Eggs & Whiskey collects the poems of Hayden Carruth from 1991 to 1995. It won the National Book award in 1996, and rightly so.

Mr. Carruth uses the English language alternately like a scalpel, or a nine pound hammer....
