Pros: Very good. Cuts down on cleaning time significantly. One click of a button. Done. Cons: Refills are not cheap. But I refill with cheap bleach.
It's not perfect. It doesn't hit the high area. Some scrubbing still required. But it's good enough for the money. My shower builds up mildew really fast. I used to use one of those "Daily Shower Cleaner" hand spray for $2-3 about once every 2 days. ...

Pros: Worked on mold, mildew, soap scum in 3 weeks Cons: Go through refills fairly quickly
I'm confused about the negative posts on the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner. I am the furthest thing from a clean freak. It's not that I wouldn't love my home to be presentable and spotless at all times, but with a full time business, I ...
Pros: Easy to use. Works relatively well. Much easier than cleaning the shower daily or weekly. Cons: Have occasionally forgotten to push the button after showering. Doesn't reach all areas of shower.

Pros: Makes weekly cleanings easier, smells nice Cons: Does not clean a dirty shower, weight of item may break your pipes.
I purchased this item because my husband is a mechanic and cleaning our stand-up shower after a few days of his showers is difficult to say the least. I thought if the solution kept the grease broken down my weekly cleanings of the shower would be ...
Pros: Set up and directions for use are simple. Shower smell is not annoying after use. Cons: Ineffective cleaning for a shower stall.
Even if this product maintained the shower after a good manual scrubbing, I would have considered the price reasonable. But after 5 weeks of use, this product does nothing but empty the cleaner bottles. I have a standard tiled (white) shower stall, ...
Pros: It makes money for Johnson & Johnson by ripping people off. Cons: If it works at all, it will not last. Terrible cleaning action!
Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner is a worthless piece of garbage. Besides cleaning very, very poorly its reliability is horrendous. It leaks, will not work longer than a month, eats batteries rapidly, and is expensive to refill. Is there a lower rating than a ZERO?
Cleans well, but batteries have to be changed way too often by deek4321 ,Jul 21 '07
Pros: Cleans well Cons: Runs through batteries quickly, which is annoying and brings up the operating costs.
The automatic scrubber is a great idea, but I think it still needs work. I loved the way that it thoroughly cleaned my entire bathtub/shower. I loved the lack of a strong odor, and I loved getting to just forget about cleaning the shower. However, the machine itself is a huge hassle, and I seriously think it would be easier and cheaper to just keep a sponge or something in there and clean as you go.
I bought this, and it worked exactly as advertised--for about a week. I replaced the batteries with discount batteries, and it still didn't work. So I exchanged it.
The new one worked exactly as advertised--for about a week. I replaced it with duracel batteries, and it worked great--for about a week. Since then, the longest I've gotten it to work before having to change batteries is about 2 weeks.
If I'd known it eats batteries like this, I never would have bought it. The extra expense, and toll on the environment of all those batteries (and yes, we recycle them) is just not worth a few minutes saved.
Pros: Works great for me!! Cons: I have some hard water spots that persist
I have found the Scrubbing Bubbles machine works beautifully! I hate to clean (I'm a single male 47 yrs) so I bought one of the machines to try out. After a couple weeks - all the grout in my shower was pearl white. The tile is clean and bright.
My only complaint was the cost of refills of cleaning solution (approx. $4.00 per). I got around this. Heres what I did: after about 10 showers, the solution bottle was empty. Normally you would just throw it away. Not me - I removed the top by unscrewing it (bottle has notches on base to prevent this but with patients it can be done); took my roto tool sander and ground down the notches so I could unscrew the top easily and filled up the bottle with inexpensive generic daily shower cleaner fluid (I get mine at Kroger for $1.50 per). Screw the top back on and you're in business!!!
effective but poorly made by danneauxs ,Mar 31 '09
Pros: works ok Cons: poor usage life
We had great sucess in our shower stall with this device. We're on a well and mineral build up is quite bad as well as soap scum. Within weeks it was noticeably less, so much so that a quick scrub down had the shower clean. Usually, that's a chore and a half!
THE BAD. The first one we owned quit working after 4-5 bottles and the second after 2. The just stopped doing anything. Pressing the button results in nothing. Battery compartment is bone dry & no sign of rust.
I bought this item 4 months ago. It began malfunctioning after about 2 weeks, and 2 weeks later, it quit working entirely. I wrote an email to the manufacturer complaining about the poor quality. They emailed back to apologize and say they were sending me a $25 coupon to replace the item. They did and I purchased a second unit 2 months ago. It died today. The product does a good job of reducing soap scum build up, and does get rid of old buildup, but it does not clean the dirt or stains in the shower. I would have been satisfied, however, if it had just been reliable. Save your money.
Pros: None Cons: Expensive, does work as advertised
After 5 bottles of cleaner, I found the shower in worse shape than when I used the manual shower spray. The soap scum build up is worse than the manual "Clean Shower" sprays. This thing simply doesn't work as advertised or even come close.
Scrubbing Bubbles non-Cleaner by quintal ,Oct 26 '06
Pros: Free batteries. Cons: Bad smell.
My husband purchased the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaning at a local variety store for about $20.00 (they were having a special). I was excited but quickly got over it once I turned on the thing and got a whiff of that strong, unpleasant, chemical odor. That smell is akin to the stuff they use in public bathrooms. Ugh. Back to Soft Scrub and elbow grease.
Maybe if you have a short narrow shower by hroeder ,Feb 21 '07
Pros: Nice idea. Works on what it reaches. Cons: Doesn't reach a full shower.
What this stuff reaches it does clean. It works. But the problem is that the sprayer hangs from your shower head. This means that the spray starts at about 4' off the ground. If all you're worried about is getting your tub clean, then go for it.
But if you want to keep the tiles clean, it isn't going to reach much above the height it is hanging from. Plus the refills actually cost more than if you'd bought the aerosol and sprayed the walls daily.
Pros: it cuts down on some of the cleaning Cons: Dangerous; see comments
I purchased the automatic shower clean [scrubbing bubbles] when it first came out. It worked mediocre at best but it did help slow down the amount of cleaning time needed. However, this week-end I went to change the refill and the entire unit along with the shower arm came crashing down at me. The unit is too heavy for the shower arm to support. This is a dangerous situation. I mentioned the experience to a neighbor and they had just had the same thing happen two weeks before. A recall would be the responsible thing to do until they can figure out a way to make the unit lighter.
Pros: Cleans OK even though my husband and girls don't necessarily "hit the button" every day. Cons: Unit and refills are too expensive. It eats batteries and units don't keep working.
I am using this product in two showers. The cleaning part works OK for me. I still give the showers a good scrubbing about every 8 weeks.
The problem lies with the unit itself. I've had to call Johnson and Johnson for replacements three times. Each time I have received a replacement, so that's a plus. The units don't last. One just quit. I replaced the batteries and it still didn't work. Two units went crazy and didn't stop spraying after the 12 seconds that they are supposed to work. They wouldn't turn off and sprayed out the at least 1/2 a bottle of cleaner before I was able to get the batteries out.
I use a cheaper shower cleaner for refills about 1/2 the time, depending on my coupons.
Watch out for unexpected side effects! by pianomama ,Feb 10 '07
Pros: Cleans well where it reaches (doesn't reach the top area of shower walls) Cons: Leaves a terrible white residue on the shower floor after using for several months
The cleaner works pretty well, especially on a clear shower door. We've not had any mold buildup since using for about 4 months. BUT -- we destroyed the grout in the ceramic tile next to the shower door. The only explanation is the water dripping off of the shower door when it is swung open. There must be residue of the cleaner from earlier spraying, which then dripped into the grout. It is permanently stained (we've tried every kind of cleaner imaginable) and we now have to scrape it out and completely replace it. Terrible damage, which will cause a lot of work. NOT WORTH THE RISK!!
Scrubbing Bubbles Not-So-Automatic Cleaner by musicpad1 ,Apr 10 '09
Pros: It came in a pretty box. Cons: Extremely un-reliable. Poor results. Expensive refills.
This is a complete waste of money and a mis-engineered piece of junk. Our first unit went to pot within about two months of normal household use. The company did eventually send us a voucher to exchange for another unit which was "improved." Within six months this new "improved" piece of junk became un-reliable. You had to continually fiddle with the batteries in order for it to (sometimes) work. By the eighth month the thing became completely un-useable and we need to contact the company.
Prior to this, we bought another unit for our second shower and it leaks and creates more of a mess than it solves. We also bought a shower cleaner for my mother for Christmas. It worked THREE TIMES before conking out just like our first (and second) one.
This device -when it works- works marginally well. The refills are expensive (relative to buying the chemically-identical product in a dollar discount store) and the device is not the least bit reliable. Four units purchased, only one of them still working, none of them working well. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MIS-ENGINEERED PIECE OF JUNK! YOU WILL SURELY BE SORRY!
Good idea - bad performance by technologic80 ,Nov 18 '06
Pros: Cool idea, affordable. Can refill with other brand shower cleaner. Cons: Refills are $5!
I bought the Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner on sale for $14.99. I was pretty excited because I hate cleaning the shower and our shower is prone to mildew despite using mold-free caulk.
However, as cool as it is to have an automatic device to spray your shower - it just doesn't equate to spending $14.99 and $5.00 for the refill! I did discover something - PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THIS - I ran out of solution and went to buy another refill at $4.79 at my local CVS. RIGHT next to the scrubbing bubbles refill was CVS brand shower cleaner in a spray bottle for $1.99. Hmmmmm... a light bulb lit above my head!
I went home, rinsed the scrubbing bubbles container and refilled with the CVS shower cleaner. Ive been doing it ever since and I think the CVS stuff works better!
Automatch Shower Clearner Stops Working by gtl824 ,Jan 31 '09
Pros: None... Cons: Quits working after less than 30-40 days.
I was happy to find that there was a product that would help clean my shower. Purchased one of them and before the second bottle of solution was empty it stopped working. I opened the battery compartment and tested the batteries. They all showed good but after letting the compartment opened for a day I replaced the batteries. It worked again for about 1/2 of the solution then stopped again. I tried vasoline on the batteries like others suggested but it did not work. After changing the batteries one more time and getting the same result I complained to the manufacturer. They sent a coupon for a free unit. I got the new one and installed it. Sure enough in less that 3 weeks it started acting up just like the previous one. I check with other people and found that 2 others also had the problem. Am going to complain again and try to get $$ instead of a coupon for something that will surely fail again.
Pros: NOT ONE THING! Cons: EVERYTHING! WASTE OF MONEY!
This thing doesn't work! Get it......DOESN'T WORK! Please don't buy it.....it's a scam! I thought it would be a wonderful thing if it DID work but it DIDN'T! I had to prop it up to even get it to hit anything past 3 feet and it still didn't do the job.
I wish I could come up with a device that doesn't work and market it as well as this company has!
I'm amazed they would put something out like this that really doesn't work! I gave it a try for 3 months and am back to good old scrubbing on my own!
Save the money and buy something that does work!
Pros: Save hours cleaning the shower, easy to use Cons: Refills are a little expensive but worth it - you can get them at Sam's.
I purchased the Dow Automatic Shower cleaner almost 2 years ago when I moved into my new home. A friend had highly recommended the product. My new home had a stall shower with shower doors - It started off clean and I wanted to keep it that way. I hate scrubbing shower doors. I will be in my home for 2 years next month and I have never had to scrub my shower doors once. I only have occasional spot cleaning to do on the edges. The shower walls look great also. The only thing it doesn't clean well is the shower floor. Every few weeks I have to give it a squirt of cleaner - it does come clean easier though. I also use it in my guest bathroom shower. It keeps the shower curtain and walls clean. The tub does not have to be cleaned as often and then it comes clean easier. I absolutely love this product and recommend it to everyone.
The War with the Shower has Just Ended - I WIN!!!! by tharris70 ,Mar 12 '06
Pros: Easy to use Cons: Nothing
I have always hated cleaning my shower. I have a stall - separate from the tub. It is 3 feet wide and 7 feet high. Mold loves my shower and because I am only 5'4", it is always a war for me to clean it. That is until Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner joined my troops. It is as easy as hanging it from your showerhead (it comes complete with a hanger). When you are finished with your shower, you simply press a button, the button will beep which tells you in 15 seconds it will start cleaning (in other words get out). Then it will spray the cleaner a full 180 degrees. It cleans on its own. The cleaner going down the shower and you will see and smell the difference. No more mold, no more reaching and scrubbing - the automatic shower cleaner does it for me. Retailing for $40.00, it is well worth it. The starter kit comes complete with an extra cleaning solution. I must say that I no longer dread cleaning the bathroom and I enjoy taking a shower since I don't have to worry about cleaning it anymore.
Pros: Smells nice. It beeps for 15 seconds before starting. Cons: Makes your shower even worse. Doesn't "clean" everywhere.
I got to try this product for free. I absolutely hate cleaning! Who doesn't? I hung this new invention on my showerhead. After taking my shower, I pressed the button and watched it do it's magic. It didn't spray everywhere. After using up one bottle, I noticed the bottom of my shower door and walls were growing brown mold or mildew. Gross! You could see the white trails left from the cleaning solution on my shower door. I'm better off cleaning the shower by hand using other cleaning products. The only positive things about this is the smell is quite pleasant. Also it gives you enough time to get out of the way before it starts to spray.
Pros: It worked at and below the level it was hung. So saves time. Cons: After 4 months, both my units don't run. I won't replace them.
We bought 2 units, one for each bathroom. Both stopped running after 3 to 4 months. Yes, of course I changed the batteries; even tested them though they were new, just to be sure they were good.
We live in Arizona and both bathrooms have ceiling vent fans; so no mold or mildew problems. We liked the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner when it was running. We did have to hand spray the area above it where it can't reach, but it still saved us time. But we're not buying new units every 4 months.
Scrubbing Bubbles Does Not Work by tperk100 ,Apr 12 '07
Pros: Retards Scum/Mildew Buildup Cons: Still Have to Clean Shower...Does NOT work as advertised. Very expensive to use.
I bought the Starter Pack a little over two months ago and am on my third bottle of cleaner. I started with a shiny clean ceramic tile shower. I use the cleaner every time I use the shower. My shower is one of those older small ones - is only about 3.5 by 4.5 ft. Scum and mildew has been slowly but steadily building up, even in the areas that receive a direct hit from the cleaning fluid. This product DOES NOT WORK as advertised. Also this product (the cleaning fluid) is very expensive to use.
I love Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner by fizedteachr ,May 18 '06
Pros: Easy to use. Easy to assemble. Cons: Does not fit great over my shower head. Fluid only lasts for 14 uses.
I live in a 1950's house with no bathroom circulation and have always had a problem with mildew. I was excited to see this product on the market and ran right out and bought it. After now using it for three weeks my shower is sparkling clean. All I have to do is hit the button after the last shower of the day. I feel that this product is awesome. It works extremely well and I don't have to lift a finger to get and keep my shower sparkling clean. I have glass doors and it even gets them clean. I would highly recommend this product.
Pros: It came with batteries. That was nice. Cons: Doesn't keep the shower clean.
I tried this product on my recently cleaned shower, and gave it more than a fair chance - three containers of cleaner. The shower got dirty at a slightly lower rate than before, but got dirty nonetheless.
I'll confess, it does seem to prevent mildew growth. Water and soap scum on the glass doors, however, were unaffected.
The sprayer itself is incredibly loud and doesn't spray very evenly. It slatters a ring of cleanser maybe two feet wide near the top of the shower, and that's it. That leaves the bottom of the shower as unprotected as ever.
Pros: small, hangs from shower!!!!! Cons: honestly, nothing!
I just bought this product last week.....now understand that you must clean your shower before you use the automatic shower cleaner. The last reviewer sounded like she just stuck it on expecting it to work. You MUST use it everyday to see results. This thing really works!!!!!!UPDATE!
ITEM BROKEN!!!!
Scrubbing Bubbles Auto Shower Cleaner by kjinpa ,Oct 10 '06
Pros: Easy, easy, easy! Keeps the shower as clean as good old elbow grease Cons: Bottle of cleanser only lasts about 2 1/2 weeks or so. A little pricey
After much debate, reading other reviews, etc. I finally broke down and bought the product. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! I absolutely love this product! I've been using for about 4 weeks now - I started with a clean shower, and my shower is as clean as it was 4 weeks ago. A nice fresh scent, no film, no spotting. It even has kept the mildew from growing on the bottom of my shower curtain. I have not experienced the problem with spray not reaching high enough, but my shower head is hung unusually high. I cannot think of anything bad to say - and have encouraged many friends to consider getting one.
The only thing I might caution anyone on is that it might not work for all types of tubs - I have a very old metal tub - not fiberglass, so I can only speak for this type. I do have textured fiberglass sides - and they have stayed clean as well.
Pros: None! Cons: Everything! Doesn't reach top 2 feet of average shower, doesn't remove scum and dirt.
I received this as a gift and am glad I did. My mother gave it to me because she was redoing her bathroom and wouldn't use it for awhile. She told me to try it and tell her how it did. It didn't do anything except make my bathroom smell clean for a few minutes (air-freshners are way cheaper). It didn't remove soap scum or anything. I used a whole bottle of the cleaner and nothing changed in my shower. There is no way for it to physically clean your whole shower unless your shower is 4 foot high. The spray won't reach beyond that. Please save your money!
Pros: there are none Cons: everything about this stupid machine
this product sucks it does not clean my shower the mist DOES NOT reach as far as it says on the commercials or the box if there was a way to get my money back without a receipt or the box i would because my stupidity i trusted the addvertisment an threw those things away out $20 and regreting it
Fact: Worthless. Fiction: Looked Good On Paper by dhgulley ,Mar 20 '07
Pros: Smells clean Cons: How can I count the ways?
I'll make this short....
Had a little soap scum, thought this product would be great for removing said scum and keeping my shower clean..
...It doesn't. After two weeks, the scum is on there just as it was before. Not a particle of difference.
I use a hair dryer after I take a shower, and I've found that if I turn the unit on after I get out and dry my hair, the fumes from the cleaning agent get into the hair dryer which causes me to cough. Don't know if this stuff does anything to irritate my lungs, but I'm not taking any chances.
Into the garbage it goes.....$14 bux down the tubes!
Pros: Okay in a pinch, i.e. an illness, or possibly a guest shower. Cons: mediocre results; it is much too expensive. Big disappointment
I bought this product with high expectations; it is mediocre at best. Much too expensive. I would use it in a pinch, i.e. an illness, or possibly in a guest shower. All in all, I would take a pass on this product, unless I could find it at a wholesale store.
Pros: NONE Cons: Just doesn't work as advertised and in some cases just flat defective.
I was looking forward to, at least, not having to scrub the showers as often. Well, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I thoroughly cleaned both showers, installed the units and all it did was leave a sticky residue. And to top it all off, one of them stopped working completely after about 2 weeks. I replaced the batteries, cleaned the unit and it just won't work. So both of the units went in the trash.
I wonder where you can write to get your money back or at least get some equal value coupons on other products.
BEST WAY TO USE THIS PRODUCT by cindyknowsall ,Dec 13 '06
Pros: SPARKLY CLEAN SHOWER Cons: CON'S ARE EASILY RESOLVED, SEE ABOVE
I'll start with cons:
1- Too big to keep in the shower
2- Sits too low to clean entire shower
3- You need to press button twice to get good coverage
4- Refills are too expensive
Resolutions to cons:
1- It's easy to put in the shower for cleaning time only,
2- I hold it up high over the shower door and let it spray,
3- So you need to use twice as much, big deal.
4- Take off the cap and fill the bottle with a cleaner that's on sale.
Pros:
1- I only do a major shower scrub once a month.
2- My shower always smells and looks clean,
3- I don't have to breath harsh chemicals. I just close the bathroom door.
Pros: Easy to install and operate, that is where it ended. I believed the advertising. Cons: This product does not work after all of the hipe it gets on TV.
I bought this product on the urging by my wife. I thought 20 bucks was not a big outlay to give it a try. Now I am sorry I spent the money for the contraptation. I even bought several additional bottles of the cleaner in hopes it would come around but no luck. Throw this one in the dumpster and save your 20 bucks.
This Thing Wouldn't Even Clean a NEW shower by debscott55 ,Jul 18 '07
Pros: Ummm, the cleaning solution smells good. Oh boy. Cons: It doesn't work and it's expensive.
Every time I think of the money I spent on this thing I feel like blowing my brains out. Do NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT invest money in this product. At first I thought, "Oh my, maybe my shower is just too dirty!". Feeling ashamed and guilty, I cleaned the shower so well I could see my face in the tiles, then tried the product again as a maintenance regime. More fool I. You'd be better off spitting on the tiles and rubbing them clean with a dirty pair of underwear. Every time I even see the commercial I hiss and spit with outrage. I got stuck with this piece of crap, I only hope my words will help you avoid doing the same. Clean the shower yourself or get the kids to do it, this product is like howling at the moon. I wouldn't GIVE this thing to my worst enemy on the last day of life on Earth.
Pros: After using coupons, I paid $13.00 per unit at the grocery store. Cons: No cons as far as I can see.
I have one in each of my 3 bathrooms and it keeps the soap scum off the doors and shower curtains. I started with clean showers and it has kept them clean.
Pros: Cleans where the spray reaches. Cons: The spray only will cover about a 12" strip of wall, if that.
Don't waste your money. This product needs a LOT of IMPROVEMENT!! It will only clean a small strip of the shower wall. The better alternative right now is to keep a spray bottle of shower cleaner to spray the entire shower yourself! You will be MUCH FURTHER AHEAD!!
Pros: It cleans the glass doors wonderfully Cons: it just stopped turning
Have the product and loved it in the beginning. Now it doesnt spin anymore, replaced batteries numerous times thinking it was the batteries, still does not work
Wished This Product Was Designed Better!!! by cpstar525 ,Jan 01 '08
Pros: Could have been a decent Product Cons: Not worth the money, effort or batteries
I have had the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner for about six months now. Despite its fault about not reaching all areas of my shower, it generally cleaned the tile well and really kept my shower doors clean. My COMPLAINT about this product is that it eats up batteries and then stops working for good! We have two of them. The first worked as described above for six months, and the second worked the same, but for a shorter period, two months. The first started eating up the batteries after three months of use and the second started eating them up right from the start of use. This second one ate up batteries at the rate of a set every other week and stopped working all together within two months of use.
Pros: It save me lots of time and hard work. Cons: I honestly can't think of any cons. Nothing is perfect, but his comes close.
I'm amazed at the bad reviews here because I've been using Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner for over 4 months now and I absolutely love it! We have hard water, but it still saves me a lot of time and energy. Sure, every so often I have to wipe down the shower with my previous cleaner, but it's so much easier than having to scrub it! The deposits Scrubbing Bubbles leaves are minimal and very easy to wipe off. I wish they'd have had this device years ago.
Pros: Reduced cleaning time and the speed of grime and mildew developing. Cons: Still have to clean.
I knew when I purchased this product that my shower cleaning days were not going to be eliminated as its advertised. After I cleaned my shower thoroughly I set up the sprayer and used it as the instructions stated. I still have to clean my shower but I was pleased with how it cut down on the amount of cleaning time due to the reduced grime and mildew that develops on the curtain and tub floor.
Pros: Efficiently removes soap scum from all sides
Newer model comes with built-in soap caddy Cons: doesn't reduce existing lime deposits
Seemed to good to be true but I hate housework so much that I had to give it a try. The result after a month is that the musty smell of my shower/tub and the soap scum is gone! Unfortunately it wont scrub your bath, as it claims, to make it cleaner but since soap scum is what dirt sticks to it will leave it as clean as the first time you started (except of course the rubber no-slip mat). It is important that you really scrub out your tub before the first use. I don't usually clean my tub more than once a month (I told you I really hate house work-good thing my husband loves me anyway)so I have stains that I still need to remove from lime deposits but I will be buying one for my daughters this Christmas.
Pros: I don't have to clean my shower daily. Cons: Haven't found one after 8 months.
I have read the other reviews and can not believe we are using the same product! I have 2 bathrooms, 4 kids and hard water and I LOVE this product. Sure I need to scrub the shower once a month but for $30 what did I expect? Its better than the everyday cleaning I was doing. So maybe a few people expected miracles but if you expect to never clean your bathroom again you may want to hire a maid.
Works when it works, but not when it doesn't! by klemeyer ,Mar 05 '08
Pros: Keeps the shower clean, as promised. Cons: The sprayer stopped working after only a month.
I, too, fell for the commercials and ran out and bought a Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner. And at first, we were delighted. I didn't even clean the shower before I hung it up - and daily, the shower got cleaner and cleaner and cleaner.
But - and there's always a but, isn't there? The stupid thing stopped working after about a month. We kept thinking it needed new batteries, but that wasn't the problem. Push the button and presto! It hums. Nothing else.
I liked the automatic shower cleaner so much, when it worked, that I am actually thinking of buying another one. But, will it work longer than a month? Has anyone else had this problem?
Pros: inexpensive, fast, efficient, effective Cons: with bath products with lots of oils, need to manually clean the tub 1-2x/wk
I absolutely love my Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner. I bought one for both of my bathrooms & did the same for my Mom's bathrooms. She loves it as well. After having one of them for nearly 2 years, I just bought a replacement. It does pretty much just what it says that it would do. I do not have mold or mildew. I use it daily. I do need to clean the tub, maybe 1-2x/wk. However, I DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS until I started using bathing products with LOTS of oil. The only thing is that when I first bought it (the very 1st time), because my shower was ridiculously dirty (had to use Mr. Clean's Eraser, along with a little bit of elbow grease to get it clean), it did not clean the existing dirt. After I got the shower initially cleaned, it has stayed absolutely clean. I HIGHLY recommend this product!
Hey! No more cleaning the shower. by fuzisnoman ,May 25 '08
Pros: My shower is now maintenance free. It works. Cons: The initial investment, of $24.99 is pricey.
I've had the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner installed now for five months and I am delighted with the results.
Prior to this automatic wonder, through weekly use of an otherwise pristine tub and shower enclosure, the nastiest black algae/gunk would start to appear on the tub base and shower curtain. Every month or so, I would become grossed out and clean the tub on hands and knees. This didn't take long but I could never quite get the base of the tub base fully white. Small black lines remained in the surface texture of the plastic surface.
However, cleaning the shower curtain was a big task since it's a large, flexible area. To do a descent job, I took the curtain off the rod, scrubbed, rinsed, and dried it on the deck before hanging it back up. This was not a job I wanted to do.
Now, with the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner, neither the tub nor shower curtain requires any attention, nor all the small black lines in the tub base are gone. I love this product. Try the Spa-scented cleaner.
Hoodwinked by The Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner by sanrett ,Jul 23 '08
Pros: The concept is great ... the ease of installation is great ... Cons: Simply doesn't work! Very disappointing!
What a product! I could hardly wait to install and use the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner. The commercials for this product enticed me to purchase ... I thought that I found the answer ... nevermore would I have to squeegee shower walls.
But wait I thought that overall coverage meant overall coverage ... not 360o at approximately waist level ... left to trickle down the walls and door to the shower floor.... What about the rest of the walls more or less waist level to the shower head?
I expected the sprayer to move in an up and down motion for overall coverage. It stays at one level! How is that overall coverage? Making a complete 360o rotation is great but overall coverage just doesn't happen!
Pros: Has a nice smell Cons: everything about it, except the smell
OK, so all of you who love this thing, PLEASE tell me what I did wrong??? I used it for 2 1/2 months, and it did clean the one strip of wall it sprayed, but nothing close to cleaning the entire shower! I held my hand at the top of the shower wall (standard size shower) and it didn't even get wet. It only sprays in one area, not even close to the top and bottom of the shower/floor. It smells GREAT, and I would love it and purchase another for the other shower if it worked as claimed?? I've read numerous reviews from folks who said it's great, cleaned the whole shower, tell me how, please! (By the way, I've read more reviews that state it doesn't work)
Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner-I Do Not Recommend by easyclean ,Jan 11 '09
Pros: None it did not work as advertised leaving hand cleaning necessary to finish the job. Cons: A waste of money and time. Being disabled it would have made shower cleaning easier.
I purchased the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner Kit at a Walmart Store in Charlottesville, Virginia. I had a coupon that I had down loaded from the internet to use towards the purchase of the shower kit and Walmart management refused to accept it accusing me of copying someone elses. Then once it was installed in my shower it only worked for about three weeks and quit! I took it back to the same Walmart store and the management refused to exchange it for another because I did not have the original box it came in. I was not asking for my money back, just an exchange of the same product. I wrote to Scrubbing Bubbles about the problem and they sent me coupons for items I do not use and did nothing about the unusable automatic shower cleaner. I am out the money and the shower cleaner! It was a total waste of my time and my money. It surely did not make a believer out of me on cleaning a shower as it is advertised to do so.
Poor Quality -- two died on me in 6 months by flai ,Apr 20 '07
Pros: Good idea but needs significant improvement before it is really useful! Cons: Poor quality; needs improvement in both quality and performance.
Two automatic cleaners died on me in 6 months. When it worked, it only did an OK job. It is a good idea but needs significant improvement before it is really useful!
Pros: the area it reaches stay clean Cons: doesn't reach all area's
I have two bathrooms, I bought one for kids bathroom only. The kids shower/tub remains clean, occassionaly I have to do a passerby with a sponge, which is better than the traditional cleaning, and the kids love pushing the button after they take a shower!
Now, in my shower/tub, oh my gosh, I'm tired of getting on my knees and scrub. I definitely need to buy another one.
Make sure the base is empty before you put in the new bottle of solution! by trash57box ,Jul 07 '06
Pros: Works well as a cleaner Cons: No caution or safety warning about a very definite hazard
I've found the device very helpful, so when the first bottle of solution was gone, I removed it and started to put in a new bottle. Unfortunately, I didn't realize there might be some cleaning solution still in the base. When I pressed the new bottle in place, the solution from the old bottle squirted out and hit me in the chest and under the arm. I followed the safety instructions on the bottle and washed with soap and water--to no avail. By evening I had welts on my chest and arm; by the next morning those welts were developing into 2nd degree burns. It's been a week now and the pain has been excruciating. I'm on two different prescription burn medications, and that's helping, but a simple warning from the company to check for solution still in the base would have kept this accident from happening.
So take it from someone who has paid a heavy price: make sure there isn't any cleaning solution in the base before you put in a new bottle!
Pros: looks unobtrusive, like a soap dispenser Cons: looks too much like a soap dispenser
Just a suggestion...you might want to warn any GUESTS using your shower that it is NOT a SOAP DISPENSER.....
I speak from recent personal experience...I was traumatized just earlier today....thank God it didn't go in my eyes...!
:)
My host did have a clean shower though, I must say.
Pros: looks nice, easy to use Cons: expensive to buy, refills last 20 days @ 3.99,doesn't do the job I thought it would
I bought this for the obvious reason...I hate cleaning my shower. It proved to be a neat idea. I used it for a month or so, religiously. I follwed the directions to a tee, using it daily right after my shower. Everything looks the same. I would prefer to clean it myself, as it looks no cleaner than when I started. The thing looks nice in the shower, not like a cleaner at all, but for 3.99 per refill (last 20 days or so), it is not cost effective for the job it doesn't do.
Pros: Nice concept Cons: uses up batteries much too fast
Nice concept.....but it eats up batteries like crazy! I like the clean scent....it sure is convenient. But I think is too costly because of the need to change batteries too often, it only runs maybe 5 times on one set of batteries. I only give it one star.
I hope I can use the cleaner without the sprayer.....I have 2 bottle of it that I recently purchased. I won't waste anymore batteries on it!
Pros: Worked to expectations when it worked. Cons: Unreliable
When at first it did work,it seemed to clean the area
fairly well; realizing that it was not going to clean
any higher than the bottom of the unit. we were content
with what it did do.
After installing a refill, and making various tests, we are unable to again start it operating. This is very discouraging .
Ease of cleaning at the touch of a button! by skalerfie ,Mar 21 '07
Pros: Less intensive cleaning, easy to use Cons: Expensive system, refills pricey
The Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner was invented to help you keep your shower sparkling and looking brand new. With a simple touch of a button, the sprayer head rotates full circle emitting a cleaning spray that's supposed to clean away all the dirt and grim that clings to our shower walls. After using this product personally for about 6 weeks, I wasn't as excited about the results as I had hoped to be. I had cleaned my walls prior to using this device, like the instructions instructed, but the soap scum still seemed to accumulate during those 6 trial weeks. I finally came to the conclusion that perhaps this device would work better on a more expensive type of shower wall, perhaps slate or tile. I had the normal fiberglass shower and it didn't seem to live up to its claim on mine.
Pros: Great idea, works well in the areas it gets to. Cons: Flawed design limits coverage. Take it back to the drawing board!
If you look at where this thing hangs, it's pretty obvious that it's not going to get the whole shower clean. In fact, because the nozzle is at the bottom, it's impossible for it to clean above itself. The refills are expensive, too.
The Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Cleaner. Did they see me coming. I've got to believe they know this is a bad product. But being the sucker that I am I thought it just might work. It didn't even reach the walls, and I have just a regular size shower stall. Is there any way we can get out money back? I WILL NOT buy ANY of their products from now on.
Burned.
Pros: The concept is great; less work. Fresh smell cleaner Cons: Doesn't do the job
I like the smell of the cleaner. I didn't know where to put my soaps & bottles; I bought a $20 over-the-door shower caddy. This morning, I instructed my husband to push the button after his shower and we both watched. It did a few rotations and stopped. The spray was a good foot or more below the top of the glass shower doors and didn't go near the second door or the opposite wall. Maybe I have a "lemon." I can tell you that we proceeded to wipe down the shower after the Automatic Shower Cleaner was done. Disappointed
Pros: Product Smells Good. Easy to use. My shower looks and feels clean. Cons: It hangs from your showerhead so you can't hang a basket to hold your shampoos.
I bought the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner 2 weeks ago and it is a God send!! My shower is one of those stand up ones with a glass door (no bathtub) and the glass door gets soap scum and cloudy after a few days of use. I haven't cleaned my shower in 2 weeks and the door is crystal clear.
I've read several posts that complain about having to take all of their bottles and soap out before they press the button. Why do you have to do that? I leave all of my stuff in, including the bar of soap, and the Scrubbing Bubbles solution does not hurt it.
Pros: the only thing good about it was the odor....it smelled pretty good. Cons: does not adjust to my shower, no residue was really elimated at all
i still have soap residue, the contraption is not adjustable, and does not reach the places that need it the most. thank goodness i had an heavty coupon for the product and put no more money into it. what a waste!!!!!!!!! i use scrubbing bubbles products and was hoping that this would be as good and was hoping that it would cut down on the cleaning, at least a bit. it appears that i was very wrong. it left marks of soap on the tub part of my shower and had to scrubb anyway. wasn't this supposed to lessen the work?
Pros: If you want "help" keeping the shower clean and don't mind the extra cost/cleaning. Cons: Does not keep shower clean as the commercial leads you to believe.
I purchased this product to clean my small shower. I figured if I didn't have to clean the shower anymore, it would be well worth the cost. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. I started with a clean shower and used this product everyday. The top of the shower and the bottom of the shower are dirty and streaky. The center of the shower is acceptably clean. For the cost of the refills, you would be better off to just clean the shower by hand with concentrated soap scum remover. It just does not clean quite well enough to justify the cost. PLEASE don't waste your money.
Pros: Seemed to keep the shower clean. Cons: Battery compartment rusted and now won't work.
The Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner seemed to keep the shower clean enough; but after using it for approximately eight months, it quit working. When I opened the battery compartment to replace the batteries, the negative contact was rusted and corroded. When I cleaned the rust off, it ruined the contact so that it doesn't work at all now.
Pros: works well on my fiberglass/glass shower Cons: lasting length of refill
I am very happy with my auto shower cleaner. I noticed almost immediately when it had run out. I take care of rescue/rehab animals and have little time to clean house. Roomba is working wonderfully for me, I look forward to Scuba, and my shower cleaner is helping me out a great deal. Anything that gives me more time to care for animal lives.
Scent is waaaaay too strong! by midewy ,Jan 30 '08
Pros: Some effect even above the level of the sprayer itself. Cons: Whole house smells overwhelmingly soapy
We have a very small shower with very little ventilation. It's almost impossible to keep clean, so I had really high hopes for this product. The weight worries me, esp. after reading here about damage from the too heavy unit, but my main complaint is that the SOAPY SMELL pervades our entire house through our heating system, to the point where the minute we walk in the front door our mouths taste as though we'd washed them out with soap! Ugh! Opening the window and turning off the heat for an hour after running the unit helps, but in winter??? Too many products are highly perfumed but this one's the WORST. Oh and the first unit we bought was defective (the batter pack lid would not open no matter how hard we pried), but the manufacturer did send a coupon for a new one (though it took over a month to reach us) which has worked fine so far (3 weeks).
Automatic Shower Cleaner ?? N O T !!!!!! by sheababe ,May 26 '07
Pros: There is a large bottle of Scrubbing bubbles cleaning fluid included with every kit Cons: but, you will have to be the one doing the scrubbing.
I could not wait to try this product. This was a working mothers dream. I rushed out to buy my 25.00 shower miracle and much to my surprise all I got was a few second 2 foot in-ept spray cleaner. My shower is average size, however the spray cleaner at best spritzed it's way around less than half of my shower. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Pros: Easy to install, easy to use. Cons: Doesn't actually clean, expensive.
I had wanted this for a long time; I am not huge on cleaning, particularly on my hands and knees scrubbing, so I had high hopes for this. It was really easy to install and fit on our shower head fine. It does appear rather unsightly though and takes up quite a bit of space. I eagerly pressed the button and sprang out of the shower, closing the glass door behind me. My husband and I waited for the show, I was actually expecting something on-par with a car-wash type spray of colorful foam and bubble action or something. Finally, pfffftttt, a couple measely little sprays of clear cleanser were emitted from the nozzle. That's it? Indeed, it did not seem possible that it was getting any of the shower clean at all with the exception of the small band directly on the same level as the sprayer. After 2 weeks of use, as recommended, my shower does not appear any cleaner at all.
Great Idea...Poor Construction by january1st ,Apr 21 '08
Pros: It actually kept the shower clean. Cons: Expensive to refill and I had trouble with the unit breaking down and not working.
I bought the unit because I was tired of scrubbing the shower. It really worked well....through 5 refills...and then it quit. New batteries, swearing at it, tapping it, throwing it in frustration...nothing helped. I'd buy another one but its just too expensive when I can pick up spray bottles of shower cleaner at the local Bargain Store for $1 each.
Pros: keeps the soap scum build up down a lot. Big difference Cons: product needs to spray lower as well.
Personally, I have a new home, up to date on new appliances and bathrooms.
I also have class in my showers and have struggled with keeping it clean and clear.
I have two college kids at home and we are all on the run with our lives.
The Automatic Shower cleaner from Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner
has saved me a lot of time and grief keeping up with my family and time cleaning. This kept the soap scum down, so when its time to clean, the elbow grease I have had to put in to clean is now a lot easier and cleaning time is a lot less. I think this product keeps down the soap scum a lot. For those who don't like to clean at all or have sever mold and very old ,old bathrooms, will just have to not depend on a magic wand to fix it all.
I will continue to purchase this product.
Pros: Keeps the shower clean Cons: Unit rusts internally which causes failure
I have two of these units. After 8 months, one of the units failed and it wasn't due to the batteries. Customer service was great and they send me a coupon for a new unit. (This replacement unit is still working fine today.) Four months later, my other unit failed. I decided to take this one apart. There is a small motor inside which was completely rusted out. Apparently there is some leakage inside and the cleaner itself is damaging its own system. Has anyone else had this problem?? Other than the unit failure, my shower has been very clean and I like the product.
Pros: it beeps and makes a funny noise while spraying. Cons: everything else. It doesn't work.
This product simply did not work. The only ting it accomplished was creating a film on the glass doors of my shower to the point you couldn't see the grime inside.
(March 2006) Target has it for $24.99 and if you open the box before you buy, there is a $5 coupon inside for a new unit and $3 coupon for refills).
Recommend Buy. I spray the shower everyday but I don't spray everywhere. The sprayer works and sprays the whole shower (8 ft high) unlike me.
One con: I have a glass shower door. I wipe the door after I leave but then the sprayer sprays the door. Not sure how this will look long run, i.e., streaks?
It's Helpful for hard water areas. by davoswoman ,Sep 08 '06
Pros: Helps a busy mom by keeping the tub/shower cleaner longer. Cons: Has to hang over shower head. Where do I put my caddy now?!?!
We have very hard water in my area. The Shower Cleaner is great for this. Although it doesn't eliminate a good scrubbing of the tub and shower, it makes it less frequent and a lot easier. I have less build up on my tile and bathtub. I am a mom of twin baby girls and don't have the time to spend 30 minutes scrubbing, not to mention the powerful odor of chemicals to get the hard water stains off! I would by it again and plan on getting one for my other shower!
This thing really works!!!!!!
Pros: Keeps the shower cleaner, longer. Cons: Doesn't always reach the highest part of the shower.
It really does a nice job keeping the shower clean in between major bathroom cleanings. Nothing is perfect but this really keeps the shower cleaner longer.
Yes, you still have to clean your shower by yourself, just not as often. Worth the money.
It has potential but takes up too much space... by duckmimi98 ,Mar 20 '06
Pros: smells good, cleans at the push of a button Cons: takes up much needed shower space
I *hate* cleaning and I am all over anything that can make my job easier so I was intrigued by this product. I just set it up so I cannot attest to the long term cleaning ability of it but I am a bit disappointed with the fact that it takes up much needed shower space. I have a separate (small) shower in my master bath so we have to use an over-the-shower-head organizer to keep all of our shampoos and such but I had to remove it to install the shower cleaner. I wish they could create this product in a version that also holds bottles of shampoo so I wouldn't have to give up the precious space in the shower.
as advertised...as simple as that by elcoche ,Apr 08 '06
Pros: Simple, works well, easy to refill, worth every penny Cons: Can you find refills?
This is innovative, could not be simpler to install, works brilliantly, and should be celebrated as a real cleaning innovation.
We have a big stall shower and it has kept it clean AND FRESH SMELLING(I like the aroma!)effortlessly. Takes about a minute to install it, and the best part is replacing the bottle of cleaner when empty literally takes about 5 seconds.
The only thing I am worried about is where to get refills? We haven't needed them yet, so I don't know how hard they will be to get, but if they are "findable", this product is a winner...for the ages!
I have had the automatic shower cleaner for about a month now. Before installing it, I first cleaned the tub enclosure by hand. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but when I use the automatic cleaner and the solution dries on the walls, it looks terrible! It leaves lots of spots all over the walls. Also, it does not reach the far wall very well. I have decided that it is better to dry the tub and walls after my shower with a towel. It doesn't take that long, and if I do that every night, it keeps it clean looking all week. I clean everything by hand once a week. It is better than the automatic cleaner.
Pros: None Cons: Everything. Doesn't work and continues to break
I bought this product with visions of cleaning my shower with no effort. NOT! Not only doesn't it do as it promises (heck it doesn't even spray the entire shower) it keeps breaking. The only good thing out of all this is SC Johnson refunded the purchase price of 2 units I bought. Have to keep on using muscle until someone actually comes up with something that works.
I hate cleaning the shower and rarely bothered to do so. Given that, the automatic shower cleaner has improved the cleanliness of my shower. However, the results are a far cry from the sparkling clean shower that the ads would have you believe. The cleaner loosens the scum but does not remove it. It still needs a good going-over with a sponge and scouring powder. Also, the spray does not reach far enough to clean the far end of my shower/bathtub combo. I'm not sorry that I bought it, but I wouldn't urge anyone else to.
Pros: Gives a sparkling clean shine. Cons: Does not reach entire area
My experience with this product has not been good.
The top portion of my shower is clean, but the sides and the bottom are not so good. I love the fact that the product does clean as it says, but the down side is that it does not reach the entire shower area.
Just Walk Away and come back to a clean shower! by prcruse ,Nov 13 '07
Pros: Cleans automatically in just a few seconds Cons: Don't peak into the shower while it's working you will get sprayed.
I absolutely love my Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner. I got one about 2 weeks ago and it is the best thing ever. I just push the button and it cleans my shower automatically. I love the way it smells. It smells fresh and clean. I really don't like to clean my shower walls and this does the trick for me. I'm all for Do It for Me. I highly recommend this product. The grout in between my walls are whiter and brighter.
Pros: None are readily apparent! Cons: Doesn't reach entire shower as promised.
After being sucked into the ad campaign, I brought this unit home only to find that the first bottle did not work but merely foamed out of the sprayer. The second bottle worked but still had a few flaws. First, it missed the top 4 inches of our relatively small shower. Second, it only lasted about 14 days.
I will definitely go back to using a similar product in a spray bottle. Don't be fooled by this product!
a product that actually works so I don't have to! by hjbartling ,May 08 '06
Pros: Installation is a breeze. Actually does what it claims. Cons: Pricey on the internet, but can be bought cheaper in stores.
I was hesitant to buy this as I'm usually disappointed. Plus the original reviews made me even more skeptical of the claims. I bought one for my shower stall and was so pleased with it that I bought a second for our main bath. I cleaned both, prior to installation and haven't needed to do it since. It's been a little over 2 months now and I'm totally thrilled with the product.
Pros: Easy for all to install and use. 100% satisfied. A miracle shower cleaner. Thank you! Cons: Refills may be difficult to find and are $3.99. Demand may exceed supply. Hope not.
Since my shower was showing signs that it needed to be seriously cleaned, I was drawn to the ad on TV which introduced the product. My husband was excited about it too, as he knew he was next in line to scrub the darn thing. Within one week, we were using the automatic shower cleaner; within a few days, almost all the soap scum was gone, and now, ten days later, our shower is as clean as if we had just finished it using old-fashioned elbow grease, and numerous other products which all promise to make your work much easier (they don't). All I will have to do now is give it an occasional bleach job, which I think is always a good idea. I suspect that refills may not be readily available, so that would definitely be a problem. But since my original order was for $39.99 and included 4 refill bottles, we're OK for a while. Each refill lasted about 10 days, so one can expect to always be on the look-out for refills. But we will go to the ends of the Internet to find them.
Pros: Came with batteries. Smells okay. Cons: Doesn't work. Waste of money.
Hmmm. I thought that this product might work because it's from a reputable company. Our water is fairly soft, so there is a great deal of deposit created by the water.
I bought the version that came with two bottles and after the second one was empty, it still hadn't done much of anything. I am still hand scrubbing the tub portion on my knees and the walls with a Mr. Clean scrubbing pad on a handle. I spent nearly $20 for the initial kit.
I will not be buying any refills. I will use the batteries for some other gadget and toss the sprayer.
Like it But quality is questionable by caraboo ,May 29 '07
Pros: Does reduce soap scum and leaves shower smelling clean Cons: It needs batteries replaced too often and the life span of the unit is disappointing.
I have my shower maid about 11 months and when it works its great but It goes through the alkaline batteries, I think rather quickly. I have tried different brand batteries and with same results Also there is only 2 people in my home so it isn't like its being used 5 times a day. And now after 11 months it has just stopped working. And I have the battery compartment on the bottom. I love the results but I am disappointed in the life span of it.
Pros: None that come to mind Cons: Way too many to mention. Suffice it to say that it DOES NOT WORK!
My clean shower gets more and more dirty with every daily use. Don't waste your money like I did. I foresee yet another class action law suit in future. This was the WORST move DOW could have ever made.
Replace Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner with another cleaner and it works better by babbbs ,Sep 04 '06
Pros: Smells good Cons: I replaced the cleaner in the bottle with my favorite cleaner and found better results.
I was unhappy with the results also so I replaced the cleaner in the bottle with my favorite cleaner that I had used for years. Problem solved. I usually hit the button again to get a double cleaning.
Pros: IDEA/PREMISE/CONCEPT IS AWESOME Cons: DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED - IF STREAKS ARE PRESENT, IT IS NOT CLEAN!
SCRUBBING BUBBLES AUTOMATIC BATHROOM CLEANER SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED. LEAVES STREAKS - THAT'S NOT CLEAN TO ME. NOT A GOOD PRODUCT AT ALL! WORST PRODUCT I HAVE PURCHASED IN MANY YEARS! PRIOR TO INSTALLING THIS ITEM I KEPT A CLEAN & STREAK FREE SHOWER/TUB AREA! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SECOND BOTTLE TO RUN OUT SO I CAN REINSTALL THE SHOWER CADDY THAT HUNG THERE BEFORE!
*Positive Note: At the same time I posted this review I contacted SC Johnson and was pleasantly surprised at their response! They do listen to customers for product improvement. And they are sending me a refund!
