Pros: Fun, economical to operate, attention-grabbing, conversation starter, USEFUL, technologically amazing
Cons: Purchase price high, hard to carry, batteries and tires wear out eventually.

Pros: Cheap to run, VERY fast commuter device, stores in your office at work (free parking!)
Cons: Not the greatest investment if you're looking for just a "toy"

Pros: About the coolest invention ever.
Cons: Costs a lot of money (but definitly is worth it).

Pros: Lot of fun to ride, makes beautiful "whirring" sound, and it's a great status symbol.
Cons: I can't believe I spent $5000 on what's essentially a hi-tech powered unicycle.
Summary: The Segway is a well-constructed device that makes point A seem a heck of lot closer to point B.
