Avoid it if you're an advanced sewer. If you're fine with its short lifespan and want to learn about computerized machines it'll be fine especially when received as a gift.

I would recommend this to anyone who loves to sew or quilt. With 110 stitch combinations and 10 feet, you can do almost anything.
