Pros: They work! Cons: They're not free(usually).
Summary: Saves time? Yes! I didn't start doing laundry until college and the one thing my mother drummed into my head was to separate and keep similar colors together. I followed the advice to the letter of the law and all these years have painstakingly ... read more

Pros: No one who does a load of laundry should be without it. Cons: I can't find it in any store at this point. Where can I buy it???
Summary: I am frustrated because none of the stores carry it anymore and my clothes look 100% better when I use them in the washing machine. Colors do NOT transfer and all the clothes and towels look wonderful, not that nasty grey look. Please do not ... read more

Pros: Absorbs stray pigment Cons: Not a highly necessary product unless you do lots of died clothing.
Summary: One of the great things about product inventors (and the marketing departments that go along with them) is the uncanny knack for creating products that I never knew I needed. Something to catch the stray colors of clothing in the washing machine to save ... read more

Pros: Really works; removes dye from water. Cons: A bit pricey at about twenty cents per wash.
Summary: The "Hawaiian shirt", with its many colors and areas of contrast, is a launderer's nightmare. A little bit of color in a white area, softening of a yellow or fading of a stark red, and the effect may be all but ruined. Dyes in most garments are ... read more

Pros: Easy to use Effective Save money when you don't have to replace ruined clothes. Cons: I am having a hard time finding these in the store lately.

Pros: This product works! on new material, new clothes, not-new but very colorful clothing! Cons: It is not inexpensive; however, you don't need this for every load you wash.
Summary: I was told about this type of product by quilters who do not pre-wash fabric before quilting; however, it works just as well if you do pre-wash your materials before quilting. Being a new quilter I had thought you must pre-wash your fabric before sewing,

Summary: I have bought this product for each of my grandchildren's mothers...daughter and daughters-in-law. I have noticed you can reuse the sheet if its not too full of dye. Kind of pricey, but there is usually a $.55 coupon on the inside packaging. That fact
