Don't buy the hype and save yourself a long roadtrip. Killington and SundayRiver offer so much more.

It is ok to keep in shape for that one trip out West each year, Conveniently located for those living in the Twin Cities. Not much challenge terrain-wise.

Gunstock offers possibly the best value for a day trip in New England.  Small enough to have reasonable pricing, large enough to keep the average skier active all day.
