Details: Sony Xplod CDX 555RF features RF Package - an add-on audio system comprised of a CD or MD changer, a CD controller, and an RF modulator, which is used to add CD or MD playback ability to virtually any car radio. A digital filter calculates 7 additional samples between the actual samples, which provides a closer representation the original analog signal, and therefore better sound quality.Sony's D-Bass unique low-frequency enhancement system provides up to 18dB of gain to frequencies below 75Hz, without midrange coloration or interference. CUSTOM FILE package provides intuitive and safe source management for an audio and A/V system. Selectable RF output frequency feature in a RF modulator allows the user to choose from a variety of modulating frequencies.
