Pros: picture quality rivalling plasma in an attractive black cabinet with adequate sound and simple controls Cons: remote control could be more flexible, and BACKLIT!
A recent Consumer Reports article on HDTV concludes that, for overall picture quality and value for dollar, plasma sets deliver a better deal. But if you are looking for a bedroom television and don't have room for the minimum-size 42" plasma ...

Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S3000 32 in. LCD HDTV The adventure of replacing a TV, with what ultimately ended up being the Sony Bravia KDL-32S3000 was a long and confusing road. Many reviews were read, researching was done, a geeky brother in-law was called, and ...

Pros: Picture quality, build quality, trusted name brand, inputs Cons: Price may be a tad to high
The Sony BRAVIA KDL-32S3000 is an exceptional HDTV. Highly regarded as probably best HDTV you can purchase at the 32" size, it is definetly worth the price. My previous HDTVs have been of the same technology type, LCD, and while they were both good, none ...

Pros: Excellent picture quality and fantastic virtual surround sound. Cons: None yet.
We purchased this TV to replace an aging clunker in our master bedroom. I was looking at the 1080p sets, but the salesman at the store told me that for a 32" screen, as long as we were viewing it from at least 6 feet away, that we wouldn't notice the ...

Pros: very nice natural image can be obtained with little calibration. Cons: no swival stand, no motion flow. A little expensive still
Yeah sony has their act together on the lcd flats. I work in the tv selling field and seen most of them, but overall sony gives you the best over all natural image. Remember what you see in the stores is a cartoon, so play around with the remote to do ...

Geat tv
by nelson1100 ,Apr 30 '08
Pros: pq,great looks comes with the stand already hooked to the tv. Cons: wants to keep looking for an input select hdmi 2
Well 25 years ago some friends bought a 32 inch sony trinitron. I had a 27 inch rca console from 1977. I think i paid 2,500 for the rca (alot of money then) and it was a great tv that lasted 30 years.Back to the sony, the trinitron blew my tv away. the picture quality and clarity were amazing in 1980's, I read all the reviews and a few were harsh on this tv. My cable box wasnt hdmi compatible theey want me to buy component cables! i had it No i went to the cable company and got a new samsung. On a side note my cable company time warner contracts out the installers.
I hooked up the new box and BAM I had HD. It may take a bit to get everything dialed in RIGHT. It is well worth the effort. Look at all sony tv reviews compared to the sharp, samsung,lg,vizio etc,The sony wins hands down. Sony makes most of the tv and movie cameras,ps3,jumbotron etcc.So why buy anything but a sony? I got mine referbished for 500 with shipping!! So read all the reviws and get this tv . ITS A SONY.

Cristle vision!
by jamestownguy ,Apr 12 '08
Pros: picture - sound - light sensor - options - weight ease of use Cons: needs a back lit remote with remote finder!
I have to say that i love my SO. Bra. The 32 in. fits nicely in my bedroom and the picture is percicely clear. I did alot of sole searching for a good tv. Plasma consumes too much energy and i discovered that plasma require you to fill the tv with a gas every so offten. I can barely keep gas in my car so i can't entertain the thought of filling my tv. LOL how silly! As for projections they were just too much all around so i went with the sony Bravia and this was a well made informed choice in LCD tv.

Best 32" Picture I've seen.
by onelaidbk ,May 22 '08
Pros: High Definition looks great, even the audio sounds good. Cons: None so far
I recently upgraded my bedroom TV from a 27" Syntax, which
never had a single problem,and a quality picture.I upgraded
for the larger screen, and built-in HD tuner.
My first mistake was a Vizio 32VL.Received 2 defective units
that went haywire after 48-72 hours of ownership. The picture quality was actually good, but I didn't trust the Vizio long-term.So I opted for a refund.
Tried the Toshiba 32AV500 next.It had the worst picture of
all, even the Olevia far surpassed it.This set lasted all of
30 minutes before a loud pop.Refund
Best for last, found the Sony KDL-32S300 on sale for 553.46
with shipping.Great deal on a superb TV.HD is awesome,Sony
DVD player that upconverts to 1080i with HDMI is even better.
I can now wait for Sony to drop the DRM trash from Blue-Ray.
I can live with upconversion.Up next will be setting up my
Mac-Mini HTPC

Usual poor sony effort
by bulldog_rigsby ,Jan 24 '08
Pros: ok picture Cons: poor contrast, picture noise, distortion, highly priced
This is as with the rest of the bravia range a very over priced underacheieving set. Picture quality is as usual for a sony set ok but not in the same sphere as the best sets on the market which are all made by panasonic. It shows distortion towards edges of screen and poor black contrasts and a lot of noise when dealing with dvd feeds my advice dont bother look at panasonic sets instead
