Pros: Extraordinary picture, truly lifelike. Cons: Price!!! Remote is cumbersome and not back lit.
The wave of the future is the HDTV, we have purchased this Sony Bravia KDL-40XBR2. This is the set my honey was waiting for. In preparation for this televisions arrival, we have switched to Verizon Fios and installed the wires into the wall, so the ...

Pros: Bright screen, Great built-in speakers Cons: Input control is slow
The most important feature of a TV to me is the picture quality. The XBR2 series of televisions stand out in any store that has them on display. The picture is easily 20% brighter than any other Sony model that is currently available to the public. ...

Pros: Great picture, good sound and not too complicated! Cons: Some technology on this set has been upgraded, to newer sets since its release!
Flat panels, LCD, PLASMA SETs, MICRODISPLAYS, PROJECTION, DIRECT VIEW, it all begins to run together after a while! The technology in television is moving so fast today, it is even difficult for someone like me, involved in the retail side of the ...

Pros: Best picture, lots of connections, lots of adjustments, high-end features, incredible PC monitor Cons: Tweak the picture for best results with each source, no separate custom antenna-cable settings
I agree with everyone else in that this set has the best picture of any LCD TV I viewed. That said, it can only produce as good a picture as the signal it gets. Most current ATSC signals suffer from bandwidth limitations which cause pixelation of the ...

Pros: brilliant color with hdtv input;brilliant detail;no lag with high speed action Cons: speakers; maybe too small?;can see fingerprints on screen when off
I wasn't a big Nascar or football watcher before this TV but now I am. I don't know anyone else with an LCD so I have to compare in the stores but I am totally amazed at this TV. I was impressed at the store but I was blowed away when I got it home. ...

Fantastic HDTV!
by jcoach ,Jan 06 '07
Pros: Looks great and the picture is WOW!!! Cons: TV Speakers are just OK can be taken care of with a surround sound system
XBR technology make the non hd stations much better than the other HDTV TVs I have seen. I am sure the 1080 resolution has a lot to do with it as well! XBOX 2 is amazing on this TV as well. The TV is so light that is made installation a snap! 3 HDMI ports will come in handy in the future!

by xbrman ,Jan 16 '07
Pros: picture clarity ease of operation stylish appearance Cons: none
I have owned this hdtv for two weeks. It has blown me away with its colors and clarity. Everyone who has seen it is amazed. I would recommend this product as number 1 in 40" lcd's. I looked at all makes in this size, andthough it is a little pricier then others it is money well spent. 5 stars and then some.

The KDL-40XBR2 is Awesome for Gaming!!!
by scalan15 ,Jan 11 '07
Pros: 3 HDMI ports!!! 1080P is awesome, PS3 and Xbox 360 are amazing on this TV, Cons: None at this Moment
I purchased mine a few weeks ago. I have my Playstation 3 hooked up via the HDMI port, the picture is beautiful, I have no problems with it, nothing concerning the clouding rumor that's going around. My Xbox 360 is hooked up via the VGA cable into the PC input, I can get 1080P with that cable, the games are also unreal. I've played Serenity on HD-DVD, it was amazing at 1080P. This TV has 3 HDMI Ports, which is rare. I have my PS3, DVD player and Cable Box hooked up to them. If you're looking for the best LCD on the market, this is the one you must get, beautiful design on the outside, floating glass is cool looking.
