Pros: Huge hits Cons: to fast pace, a little hard to score.
Well I own 99 and do not really like it, because it is pretty hard so score. Well I rented 2000 expecting it to be a little better. It wasn't.
Well you can play season and playoffs in this, the game has all the teams from that season the...

Pros: solid graphics, realistic Cons: commentary, players don't move naturally
Once again NHL Faceoff and NHL 2000 are going at it. The NHL Faceoff has been a solid series but always falls second the NHL series by EA Sports. NHL Faceoff is a simulation game that is fun but isn’t enough to beat out NHL 2000.
The good...

Pros: The game has numerous qualities Cons: too easy to score
You may wonder what the title of this review is about. So it's time for me to tell you. The flaws that cost Faceoff 99 the championship are gone, but new ones have appeared.
Lets start off with the graphics. Their texture has changed a bit but they...

Pros: graphics Cons: loading time
From the time that this game starts to load in your tv you are excited because of the graphics. The players and the moves in this game are unreal and revolutionary. I love how from the faceoff you can knock anybody out on the ice. You can skate over...

Pros: Amazing new features. Cons: Graphics not quite as good as NHL 2000.
NHL 2000 is one of the most fantastic games I've ever played. It is very dynamic and fast paced, with hundreds of new player animations then its previous version. This game has it all. Although I feel the gameplay in NHL 2000 is the best for any NHL...

Pros: coolest game on the planet. Cons: nhl actually tries to promote with this "pro"
starting to really like this game. took a while... I used to play my brother a lot and we would alternately get frustrated by giving up too many breakaways. I now play more "responsible" in my own end and I kick his butt regularly. problems...

Pros: Much improved from 98, more realistic feel Cons: EA's NHL 2000 is more fun
NHL Faceoff 2000 is a great game to play, but there are also some things that need to be improved. Being an owner of Faceoff '98, I must say that the game has been taken to a new and improved level since then, with many glitches being fixed (Faceoff 98...

Pros: The gameplay Cons: Gets old after a little while
NHL Faceoff 2000 is just awesome. I really like hockey games, and then I played this one and I'm in love with them now. The graphics are pretty good, the artificial intelligence is almost to much for me to handle, and when you take the penalty levels...

Pros: quick loading, excellent graphics, ease of play Cons: none
FaceOff 2000 is quite possibly the greatest hockey game ever made, kudos to 989 Sports. With it's quick loading you can jump right into the action in no time at all. The graphics are by far better than any hockey game I have ever seen. Many times...

Pros: gameplay, graphics, players like their real selves -for the most part Cons: lack of modes, unrealistic checking, too many rebound goals
My room mate and I have had a series of battles on Faceoff 2000 and and though we love the game, there have been a few topics that would inspire criticism.
Here's a list of comments, ideas, opinions:
1. The players look , move, and...

Pros: good game Cons: bad play
Detroit Red Wings' Coach and 8-time Stanley Cup Champion Scotty Bowman helped develop the all-new I.C.E. Artificial Intelligence. Forwards work behind the net or camp out in front looking for the redirect. Defensemen jump into the offensive zone creating...

Pros: The game rocks!!!!! Cons: slow loading time
This game is really good compare to NHL 2000. The annoucers are right on the ball with their calls and give the game more of a TV feeling.( Which really rocks) The game runs fast and furious and the checks and goals scored really look good on the replay....
