Pros: The Best Graphic Cons: Sound
Well before i begin... I have 5 words to say "Final Fantasy VIII is great!". Indeed it is great.. for those whom can stand long time training.
Graphic: Most people say that graphics are not important to an rpg, but this is one...

Pros: awsome graphics, cinematic sequences, and music Cons: a poor story line and not nearly enough hours of gameplay as Final Fantasy VII.
Fans of the Final Fantasy series were pumped about the anticipated sequel the Final Fantasy VII. But though the graphics and music did indeed exceed the expectations and the hype, the game itself ended up a little behind.
Final Fantasy...

Pros: story, graphics Cons: GF's, linearity
I bought a playstation mainly to play FF7, and I was not disappointed, it was easily the best RPG ever. So I was very excited when FF8 came out and with good reason, the game is stunning.
Graphics- The gorgeous CG backgrounds are incredible....

Pros: characters, combat system, cutscenes, innovation Cons: artificial length, few side quests
Games don't seem to be as good now as they used to be. The focus on technology, graphics, and such, have left behind the focus on gameplay and involvement. In fact, I'd thought that no game could grab me and *make* me play it anymore. I was wrong. Final...

Pros: Graphics, music, battle mode, card game Cons: Antagonists, wait after choosing to use GF.
I loved this one too. The characters and story were great. And I didn't mind the random fighting because of the Junction system. The Marlboros really got on my last nerve though. In VII you could put on a Ribbon and survive them. In VII, they will...

Pros: dazzling CGs, compelling storyline, solid gameplay Cons: lacks replay value, plenty of room for improvement
In eager anticipation I began to tear through the plastic wrap and pour through Final Fantasy VIII's instruction booklet. I had been waiting for this game ever since the day I finished Final Fantasy VII. When I popped it into the playstation I found that...

I recently got paid and decided to purchase another RPG for my Sony Playstation. I stumbled upon Final Fantasy 8. I had never played any others but had heard raving reviews about seven. So I said what the heck and purchased it. I got home and began...

Pros: Everything........ Cons: ......except the ending
The most anticipated game of the year, and it deserves to be. Final Fantasy Eight was a great game. It was tough, but not so that you had to overheat your brain to play it. The junction system was a good idea, as was upgrading weapons and drawing...

Well for most of you final fantasy addicts out there you know what I am talking about. The game starts out fast paced then dies down and keeps dragging all the way to disk 4. all right here's where we compare to other final fantasy's. final fantasy 7 had...

Pros: More originality... Cons: ...but thus less like previous installments.
Ahh, FF VIII. Let's look at different areas.
Graphics: Not my personal bag, but if you like pre-rendered backgrounds and FMV, it doesn't get much better than what this game has. Super-deformed characters are missed, though it is at least nice...

Pros: graphics, game play, and triple triad (the card game) Cons: storyline
As a long time fan of the final fantasy games, i awaited the arrival of FF8 on September 9th, 1999. I got up and skipped out of classes in order to be one of the first in line to get my very own copy of FF8. I was excited I was like a little kid on...
