It's an inexpensive solution to get free HD signal. You would need to tinker with it somewhat and may not get all the channels.

The issue of standing can be easily overcome.  Once addressed, the HDTVa is an effective antenna at a reasonable price.

If you're in a metro area, within about 30-40 miles of all your channels, this is a great antenna for Over-The-Air tv viewing.
