  • Perfect For Your Laptop Computer, Reading, Writing and Such!!!

    Aug 9, 2005 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Provides complete & convenient use for the whole family!
    Cons: None to date.

Summary: WHY TABLE-MATE 2? I mainly bought this product because I was so tired of trying to struggle with regular tables that just aren't user-friendly. No matter how hard you try, you just can't win with these so-called user-friendly tables! Have you ever ... read more

  • Table Mate- the company

    Not yet rated.
    Pros: Decent product.
Cons: The Table Mate company website and customer service is terrible.

Summary: I have no issues with the product (Table Mate II), I bought them for my Dad who likes them for TV trays.  The company who makes them and sells them is who I have an issue with.  The ordering process is a nightmare, they offer buy one get one ... read more

  • Caveat Emptor

    Aug 14, 2007 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Cheap. Not too unstable. Easy to put together.
Cons: Tilt table not usable as advertised. Just doesn't work right.

Summary: This item would be really worthwhile at its low price, if it worked as advertised (or as shown). Apparently, the rod used to adjust the table angle is misdesigned and only allows the table angle to be adjusted so that it slopes AWAY from the user --- ... read more

  • THIS TV TRAY IS CRAP - DO NOT BUY IT

    Jun 5, 2007 by
    Rated a Helpful Review
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THE TABLEMATE II
Cons: EVERYTHING IS WRONG WITH THIS JUNK

Summary: Firstly, I am not going to give the 'specs' for this product... There are plenty of reviewers here who have given them, and the less time I spend on the TableMate II, the lower my blood pressure is going to be... Secondly, well, I ... read more

  • Perfect for flat panel PC monitor for disabled!

    Oct 20, 2006 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Goes over a bed from the side, sturdy enough for a flat panel pc monitor.
Cons: Looks more like patio furniture for a bedroom. Hard to adjust without strong hands.

Summary: I just brought my Table-Mate II home from a Target store, same price $29.99 plus tax but no shipping. I had seen one in a catalog for $25 with free shipping, minimal handling, but thought it easier to return to store if not satisfied than pay to ship ... read more

  • Not what I expected

    Apr 30, 2006 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Good table if you leave it up all the time.
Cons: Legs do not fit under ALL furniture.

Summary: From seeing the ad on TV. I thought that this table would be the perfect answer for when I needed a table close to me for writing checks, snacking, etc. So, I sat down in my usual easy chair, pulled up the table only to discover that the legs don't ... read more

  • Table Mate II, Sturdy, Functional, Practical and UGLY!

    Mar 12, 2006 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Highly functional. Folds flat fast for storage.
    Cons: Ugly.

Summary: My husband and I are computer geeks. We have a wireless network at home, and spend most evenings at opposite ends of our sofa, working on our laptops. We're also like many people these days, and find it easier to eat most meals on this same sofa, while ... read more

  • Not really worth the money

    Feb 3, 2006 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Adjustable height, adjustable tilt, slides easily across the floor
Cons: Cheaply made, not very stable, very hard to adjust the height

Summary: We bought this for one reason only: It's the only tv tray that we could adjust to work with a very low chair. We have one of those "good for the back" chairs that sits real low to the ground so we needed a very short tray to use with it. This tray fits ... read more

  • Table-Mate II --- The Snack Table That Comes Right To You

    Aug 7, 2005 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Slides right up to you. Highly adjustable - 6 heights, 3 angles.
Cons: Not sturdy enough. Too expensive. Too difficult to adjust.

Summary: Eating dinner in front of the TV just got a little easier. The Table-Mate II is a snack table like no other. It adjusts to 6 different heights, and 3 different angles. But its real advantage over conventional snack tables is its unique design ... read more

    Cons: RIPP OFF ALERT
    SCAM ALERT

Summary: My 85 year old mother  ordered a buy one get one free TV offer for 29.95 plus an undisclosed S&H fee for both tables. She ended up with 14 tables and a bill for $337.35 on her credit card. Calling customer service is an exercise in ... read more

Pros: Lightweight, easy to adjust, folds flat for easy storage.
Cons: Ugly. Wish it came in "designer colors." A bit expensive given the materials and design...

Summary: I just bought a second Tablemate II after having the first one about a year. This way I can put a book on one and my laptop on the other. It places my laptop at the perfect angle for writing long essays and reports. Some people complain that it bends ... read more

    Pros: no pros
    Cons: piece of crap

Summary: The table mate is poor quality - It is very difficult to put down to store - The plastic top bends too easily and I would be nervous putting a hot dinner on it. Overpriced - the 30 day return guarantee means nothing considering you have to pay the ... read more

    Sep 25, 2006 by
    Rated Show
    Pros: I found no pros
Cons: Overpriced for its quality and usefulness.Junk.

Summary: This product is so flimsy and cheaply made. If it was only 9.99 I would consider it an Ok deal, but at 30.00 it is a waste of money. It bends, twists and bows in if you put any weight on it at all. If i lean on it, the plastic table top twists and bends ... read more

  • it's okay for the price paid

    Rated Show
Pros: value for the price paid
Cons: table top height might be too low for taller people

Summary: I got my table from Bed Bath & Beyond (online) and I received it in about a week. The table top is plastic, which is good because it means reduced weight. It was in a clean condition and came with instructions, so putting it together wasn't a problem. ... read more
