Pros: Fab Location, Turquoise Water, Food Choices, Good Climate, Low Humidity, Less bugs, Good Snorkeling. Cons: Sunfish Sail Boats Need Replacing and Increasing. Uncovered Salads/Sauces, Some Renovation Going On.
Before I start my review (which is generally complimentary) we usually stay in more up market resorts/hotels $200-500 per night and rarely all inclusive. Rowdy, noisy places are not for us. Teenage son not happy to sit on beach sunbathing all day. ...
Pros: The Staff, The View, The Food, The Whole Atmosphere Cons: Seems to be more for families or an older crowd than I had expected
I just got back yesterday from my week at the Tamarijn ( January 13-19). It was amazing, and in a word PERFECT! My boyfriend and I went. All-Inclusive is the ONLY way to go! We were pampered the entire week and did not have to worry about a thing....
Pros: Located right on the beach..Good food.. People are VERY friendly and happy to please.. Cons: Rooms could use a "make over" but clean ..
My husband and I visited the Tamarijn in May of 2001. I was not disappointed at all because I knew ahead of time what to expect. The Tam is not one of your luxurious hotels/resorts. It is kind of outdated but kept very clean. My husband and I went...
Pros: Steps from the beach. Great weather always. Top shelf liquor. Cons: Some dinner times were a little late into the evening.
My wife and I vacationed at the Tamarijn during the first week in December. We have travelled quite a lot and to many all inclusives. We were both quite pleased with the laid back atmosphere and we were really happy to be able to relax at our own pace. ...
Pros: Everything! Cons: nothing really, we really enjoyed ourselves!
We spent the 1st week of our honeymoon at this wonderful all-inclusive! The variety in food was good, not a lot of lines and waiting time was next to nothing. The rooms were great, waterfront view about 50 feet from the ocean - very romantic. Lots of people on their honeymoons. Close to downtown, could go shopping if you wanted too. There is a bus line that takes you around the island, although you are better off to rent a vehicle. We did the 2nd week we were there, although we stayed at a timeshare - so we had to pay for everything, the all-inclusive was nice especially for what you get out of it!
