Pros: Are there Pros to PMS? Cons: ♫..."Take the good, you take the bad, you take 'em both and there you have..."♫
Summary: PMS: First and foremost, PMS has nothing to do with anything. Some women (including me) need a monthly excuse to vent. And rightfully so, if I have to spend an entire day in a suit and stilettos I think I flat out deserve it! Every now ... read more

Pros: they made me realize how good the old one was. Cons: Shorter applicator; messy and painful trying to insert properly. uncomfortable new design.
Summary: It used to be that I hardly knew I had my period -- it was so easy to remove one tampon and insert a new one. Now it is a nightmare --SHORTER APPLICATOR -- one wouldn't think that 1/4 inch would make a difference -- but it now means ... read more

Pros: Hmm, the thicker wrapper paper might hold up better when carried in a purse Cons: EVERYTHING. I can't state strongly enough how much I hate this product. Very disappointing.
Summary: I was a Tampax loyalist for 20 years. After a pregnancy/breastfeeding, I am back on the tampon wagon and have been horrified at the changes since I last used Tampax. 1. Harder to open the wrapper without the string- always takes 3-4 attempts at ... read more

Pros: The gripper thingy Cons: Everything else
Summary: I've been using Tampax since I got my first period 22 years ago. Once in a while I'd try something else, either because I got a free sample or because I couldn't get my hands on Tampax for some reason, but always went back to the product I knew and ... read more

Pros: I can find absolutely no redeeming qualities to the new Tampax tampon. Cons: A flimsy, useless skirt, applicator sticks, tampon shorter.
Summary: If any of you have actually taken an old Tampax tampon out of the applicator and compared it to the new one, you would find out that they are deceiving their customers. The applicator is the same length. The tampon dry is the same length. HOWEVER, the ... read more

Pros: NONE Cons: Leaks, too short, uncomfortable, everything is bad about this tampon
Summary: The absolute worse design ever! I thought I was buying a new outer package design and here they put a whole new design of tampon in the box. Boy did they pull a fast one on me! Got me to spend the money thinking I was buying the good old original ... read more

Pros: NONE Cons: A completely DIFFERENT product that does not work!
Summary: I couldn't believe it when I found this site. I too unsuspectingly went to the store to stock up on the 54 packs of both super and regular because this is the brand I have used for 23 year, saw that the packaging was different but like most wrongly ... read more

Pros: None Cons: Leaks, leaks, leaks!
Summary: I was excited to see that Tampax was changing their design, although I never had any issues with the original design. So when they came out, I immediately tried it. After trying it, I went back to the store to buy as many of the old design as I could ... read more

Pros: pearl is easy to insert Cons: what I was used to using is terrible
Summary: I am 37 yrs. old and been using this brand for more than half my life. I now have to look for a new brand, because I hate the new design. I actually feel scammed too. I used the new cardboard which is what I am used to, and it hurt so bad to insert. ... read more

Pros: Virtually leakproof. Cons: None.
Summary: I have received these tampons, in exchange for my honest review, however, I am not as regular as I used to be, now entering menopause. I have two daughters who were both willing to share their experience. It depended on who was first. ... read more

Pros: Nothing. Cons: Leaks a lot! Very uncomfortable! Applicator is flimsy and too short!
Summary: I did not realize that Tampax had changed their entire product until I got my new box of tampons home, and pulled one out to use. I thought, okay, this looks like it will be a good improvement. 3-way leak protections sound great! An added skirt to ... read more

Pros: nice applicator that's environmental friendly Cons: I was bleeding through in less than two hours, uncomfortable
Summary: I'm one of those lucky women who for medical reasons has never gotten "that time of the month" every month. It's been more like six to eight weeks. This last time was nearly twelve. I guess that's menopause on the horizon. However, the downside to ... read more

Pros: None Cons: Not as absorbent, not as comfortable, less discreet
Summary: I won't mention the exact number of years I have been using Tampax tampons but suffice it to say it has been many. When I first saw the new packaging on the shelf, I mistakenly thought it was simply a superficial change. Boy, was I wrong. To my dismay, I ... read more

Pros: Better than a pad with a belt. Cons: All of the so called improvements!!
Summary: I have used Tampax tampons for 25 years and never had a problem with them...until the "upgrade". I pulled the first one out of the box and tore the end off of the wrapper. It came off in my hand and the product remained encased. THEY ELIMINATED THE ... read more

Pros: Enviromentally friendly, flushable cardboard, leak protection
Cons: Heavy flow means sometimes they leak.
Summary: Recently I got the chance to try a new product called Tampax Cardboard with three way leak protection, I was looking forward to trying it. Pros The new Tampax Cardboard has a little wing that looks a bit like a skirt on each ... read more
