Pros: Good characterization, further explanation of this world, excitement, mysteries building up.

Pros: Makes more sense, the villian remains technically the same, but is still interesting
Cons: Filling Material is less interesting than Eye of the World
If you compare this book to The Eye of the World, the first book in the series, you realize it's about as good as the first book. When I read this book and compared it to its predecessor, it is easiest to divide it into three acts, like a movie.
