Pros: Your Sims can have pets! Players can create their own breeds. Cons: Labor intensive gameplay. May be somewhat buggy.
I've been a fan of the wildly popular game, The Sims, and its equally popular follow up, The Sims 2, for some time now. Though I've pretty much shelved my Sims game for the graphically enhanced Sims 2, there were some things about the ...

Pros: Huge variety of pets. Huge variety of pet personalities. Meshes with original game. Cons: If you can't handle too much complexity in your game you might be overwhelmed.
There's something that's long been missing since Maxis launched the amazingly popular and successful Sims 2. Those small, furry creatures that so enrich our lives with their honest companionship and affection were somehow missing. While The original ...

Pros: Pets are very lifelike and highly customizable. New animations and interactions are hilarous! Cons: If you're not interested in pets, don't bother. There's very little else in this expansion.
Like many Sims fans (Sims 1 and Sims 2), I can't help myself. I buy everything "Sims" that Maxis throws out the door. I have a compulsive need to have it all...and now my Sims do to. Sims 2:Pets is an expansion, or add-on pack for the base game, The ...

Pros: Hours of fun, Realistic Cons: addictive
This new expansion pack is great, the pets have come such a long way in what they can do. They have a life cycle with their own motives, they can be trained, hold jobs, breed, and they can interact with the world around them. Ways to get a pet ...

Pros: breeding pets is fun, creating pets is fun, selling pets is fun Cons: not much new stuff, not as good as other expansions, not enough animals, lame music
Everyone in the sims2 community have been begging for this expansion pack, including myself. I bought this game extremely excited, and I do enjoy it, but I have to say, it let me down a lot. One of the things I love about it is that it is really fun to ...

Pros: Great game, easy to play Cons: nothing
Our family is a huge fan of playing the Sims. After having the other expansions we just had to get the Sims 2 Pets expansion pack for the Sims 2 game as well. It was not a hard find we got it at Walmart near us for $29.99 on sale. I bought the game only ...

Pros: Great game, easy enough for kids of all ages to play Cons: none
The Sims 2 Pets For PC is a great expansion pack for the original Sims 2 PC game. You must have the first Sims 2 game in order to use The Sims 2 Pets PC Game. To Install The Sims 2 Pets PC Game, you must first have the Sims 2 disk 4 available first ...

Pros: Creating, adopting, breeding pets. Cons: Not as many breeds as expected.
I purchased The Sims2 Pets Expansion pack because I wanted to give my family a Yorkshire Terrier and other pets. On the back of the package it claims “choose from a wide variety of cat or dog breeds” well it’s not fully correct, there is only a handful ...

Pros: Pets are very interactive with sims, enriching their "lives" and game experience. Cons: Pets are not controllable yet still have needs that must be fulfilled.
I love The Sims 2: Pets! This is by far my favorite of the The Sims 2 expansion packs! The pets add a wonderful new dimension to the game. This expansion pack has new career opportunities for not only you sims, but for your pets as well. The pets ...

Pros: Dozens of customizable pets to choose from, and adorable pet and toddler interactions. Cons: Contains some bugs, and the focus is primarily on pets alone.
The Sims 2 Pets is an enjoyable expansion, but since it focuses primarily on pets, it does very little for the game overall. If you are an animal lover, I would certainly recommend it. However, if you are not, once you get used to the hassle of keeping a ...

Pros: There are new features available with the Sims 2 Pets game. Cons: The Sims and their pets can be a bit too needy.
I own every Sims game ever made and that includes Sims 2. When the Sims games first game out, I was hooked. However, over time, I realized that these were very tired people who really had a lot of needs. I suppose it was very much like a lot of people! ...

Pros: Create fully-detailed new pets, great new items, and new social interactions. Cons: Nothing that the patch on the Sims 2 website does not fix.
Sims 2 Pets is Perfect -- Except for the evil Womrat! The Sims 2 Pets expansion pack allows you to create dogs and cats for your pets. You can edit even the smallest details so you get the perfect pet for your Sims. For example, you can change the ...

Pros: Great to help teens how to balance responsibility and life. Cons: Game can be really addicting and time consuming.
Talk about a game that hits life on the head. The SIMS creators did a better job with the SIMS 2 series. The SIMS 2 pet edition is one of the latest expansion pack. The Sims 2 is a stimulation game, that really show teenagers how hard it really is to be ...

Animals Are Too Needy
by stratcat43 ,Mar 21 '07
Pros: If you want Sims Pets - here it is!! Cons: Animals are way too needy.
When The Sims 2 came out I was very excited and looking forward to an upgrade of the original game. I couldn't believe when fans of the game kept insisting on another Pet Expansion (and got it).
I find the animals way too needy. It takes less time for me to take care of my real live animals!!! I guess it's more work than I want to put into the game.
