Pros: Colorful, amusing and genial with a killer soundtrack Cons: Mostly a padded episode of the series, not that there's anything so wrong with that
Summary: If you don't already know who lives in a pineapple under the sea, chances are that you do not fit into any of the occasionally overlapping sociological groups: Children, parents, grandparents, college students, unemployed twentysomethings, stoners, ... read more

Pros: SpongeBob and Patrick, good rock soundtrack, goofy humor. Cons: Scary-a hired killer, mayhem and sea life torture too intense for very young children.
Summary: A graveyard shift co-worker turned me onto the SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon show a couple years ago. We'll watch it when the mood strikes us, on Nickelodeon. Last night, spotting this loveable little yellow sponge and his best friend, a way dumb ... read more

Pros: Its our favorite little square dude Cons: Wasn't all that funny, some characters barely showed up during the movie.
Summary: What was it...18 months ago? Two years ago? The moment it was announced there would be a Spongebob Squarepants movie, well...I was READY for it. Told everyone who would listen about it, put it in my Palm Pilot for Thanksgiving 2004, even laughed ... read more

Pros: Vibrant colors, cute characters, some laugh out loud moments. Cons: Plot could have been a little better.
Summary: My son has been dying to see this movie since he saw the first preview I do not know how many months ago in fact both of my older kids are huge Sponge Bob fans. So when the movie was finally released it was pretty much all my son could talk about, so ... read more

Pros: Jeffrey Tambor, some colorful moments Cons: idiotic material, humorless script, unnecessary cameos
Summary: You would think practically cornering the children's market in the last few years would make Nickelodeon, owned by Viacom, happy enough but apparently sustained competition from The Disney Channel and Cartoon Network may have forced, at least in recent ... read more

Pros: Some hillarious scenes, exciting, pretty funny Cons: Not as good as the show, Mindy, slow moving at times
Summary: I'm a pretty big fan of SpongeBob, it's probably my 4th favourite television show, but I was pretty disapointed with the movie. It was still good, but it was a little slow moving and fell a few notches on the funny facter compared to the ... read more

Pros: ten-year-olds think it's funny Cons: dumbed down from the cutting-edge comedy of the TV show; empty and stupid
Summary: You may think, from the above title, that I'm one of those stuck up people who wouldn't condescend to watch cartoons. Not so. I have kids, and whether I like it or not, I see more cartoons than most adults. SpongeBob Squarepants is, without a doubt, ... read more

Pros: Great color; message in the movie; free admission for kids under 2 Cons: violence, cross dressing, crying, slow at times, no laughs
Summary: Don't get me wrong, I love Sponge Bob on TV. My son and I enjoy laughing with it. Today I decided to take my 2 yo to a movie theater for the first time. I figured that Sponge Bob will keep my kido sitting for at least half of the movie. After all, he ... read more

Pros: decent story, plenty of laughs, guest voice stars Tambor and Johansson, the soundtrack (!!!) Cons: a bit slow in points
Summary: The first clue I had that The Spongebob Squarepants Movie would kick a*s was in the opening live action sequence, where a bunch of pirates discover the "treasure" of tickets to the movie, and then procede to sing the theme song from this kid's ... read more

Pros: Funny for all ages, similar to TV show, pop culture references and clever jokes Cons: Predictable, cheesy sometimes, those who hate the TV show won't like the movie.
Summary: The Introduction What can I say, I'm a Spongebob Squarepants addict. I know all the lines, have seen all the episodes, and quite frankly, can't get enough of the little guy and his undersea buddies. I could not live with myself if I did not see ... read more

Pros: Easy to understand, very funny Cons: the real people kind of spoiled it
Summary: I have always been huge fan of Spongbob. Whenever I get the chance, I watch it. The movie wasn't really what I thought it would be. There seemed to be a few "potty jokes" that you would never find in the cartoon t.v show. Other then that, It was full of

Pros: It's Over, little ones will enjoy the triumph. Cons: Watching and waiting for something funny that doesn't arrive.
Summary: We looked forward to watching the movie with our 12 year old. We all enjoy the series, so much, in fact, that we bought it rather than rent. What a disappointment. Noisy, not funny (actually boring). They took the characters out of the
