Hands down the WORST place to shop for camcorder accessories!

I have now dealt with The Twister Group twice for ordering a Lenmar charger camcorder battery. Both experiences were wonderful to say the least! My only nid-pickin' with them is their shipping charges but their low prices when combined still make them the champ!
VIP UPDATE! 10/8/07:
Since writing this review sometime ago...I have found "The Twister Group" to be quite an inferior place to shop online. Their service and attitude towards customers leaves more than little to be desired and their S&H charges are still a bit high when compared with other modern online stores. You may get a great price on a camcorder battery but then they offset it with a $10 S&H!
This was acceptable a few years ago but not anymore as the internet highway has been crammed with seriously more...and better competition in more recent days that charge actual real time S&H.
Furthermore...I am now receiving countless emails every week from people who have been abused by Twister's rude service dept. Had I actually known all this when I made my initial report...I would never have recommended them.

I don't order too many things online, but I must admit that this was one of the easiest purchases I've made so far! They had the lowest price on the item that I wanted (shipping included). I placed my order via their website and promptly received an e-mail confirmation saying that my order was shipped along with a UPS tracking number. To top it off, I received my order a day early. Can't beat it!
No doubt, I'll be purchasing more items from the Twister Group.

This merchant responded extremely quickly (and politely) to all e-mail inquiries. However, when asked questions directly related to their products they have stated that it is up to the buyer to get all information about a product directly from the manufacturer and that they will not answer questions regarding product compatibility. Not a major issue but if I was to go to a brick and mortar store they wouldn't tell me to go figure things out for myself.

I ordered 3 of the same thermostats as there was a total of 3 listed in stock. After taking my order for the three units and charging me,the merchant shipped me only 2 as they stated this is all they had in stock at that time. I was credited for the one that was not in stock, however, I would have ordered some where else if I knew they could not fill my order of 3 as now I have to pay a second shipping charge when I find a 3rd unit some place else.
They should find me the 3rd unit I ordered and ship it to me free of charge.

at first we were really satisfied, then it took 3 weeks to get the adapter. we had to pick it up at the customs and had to pay customs, another company had shipped a product much more convinened, it was shipped direktly to us and the money for customs was from the beginning included, so that it was much better to calculate further, I would look for such a company the next time, we mailed twister our experience, so that they could perhaps think of changing their shipping habit, well the answer sounded real unfriendly :-(
