Most Rude Online Seller - Scary

Twister Group shipped me broken radio, when i called they threated me for all kind of credit story. I have never had those kind of rude shopping experience in my all life.
They area really very very unprofessional and horrified people.
I surprised how can they still survived in this competitive online industry.
Good luck for the good experience buyer, but you may be the most miserable person when you find some broken items.
They dont like to have any return.

They have inaccurate listing headings and don't care if they ship you the wrong item. The header clearly stated cannon pixma mx700 and I received an mx300 instead. They refused to correct the error and I'm still waiting for a refund two weeks after they received the printer. They say they are not going to refund all my money, and insist on taking a profit in restocking fees.

Horrible, cheap prices maybe, but you know what they say, "you get what you pay for" Horrible customer service, I could not read their e-mails correctly due to spelling errors. I ordered a simple CD from them 2 day shipping, (paid more for shipping than the CD) because I wanted it quick and it was in stock.(According to their website) Here it is exactly one week later and I just received confirmation it was shipped! and, I had to contact them to get the confirmation! I will not be shopping here again!!

Rigid return policy, even if their web site had bad information

30-day return policy is a problem with Christmas giving. The product description on their web site was inaccurate, and the problem was not discovered until after the gift was opened and taken out of the box. We wanted to return the wrong item to Twister for credit toward a more expensive phone system, but their response was "we only offer 30 days return period." Period.

Life is too short to waste it on shopping around. After I found the Twister Group I buy all my electronics from them (if they carry the product I need). So far, we've placed 3 orders (bought digital camera, replacement battery and charger) and they all arrive on time, exactly as describe for the price I am willing to pay.

SCAM ARTISTS.. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! I purchased a wireless video camera from the Twister Group. the item was packages terribly and once i hooked it up, the wireless did not work. I called the tech support from the company i bought it from and they said it was defective. When i emailed the twister group for a return authorization they were EXTREMELY RUDE IN THEIR EMAIL. They told me they will charge me a 20% restocking fee even though the item is broke!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I should've listened to the reviews. THEY WILL THREATEN YOU if you leave a bad review! Do yourself a favor and check the reviews on other sites. Clearly, they erase bad reviews from this one. They wrote these good reviews. There is nothing good about them or the company! People have a right to know!!

No communication or follow-up one order made.

I tried to purchase a 7.2V NiCad battery and charger from this company through Buy.com. The batter with charger was ordered on the 20th of March. Nine days later, no email follow-up, notification of the resellers information including contact and no battery and charger. After finally getting the contact information regarding the reseller (see below) I went to their site to check for availability of the item I ordered. Get this. The same item listed as selling on Buy.com from Twister as the reseller is know is $19.29. On his site, the same item sells for $14.12.
UPDATE 4/2/7 I received the following email today from
the sales department of The Twister Group.
"We feel that we have to inform all online merchants community that you a potential fraudulent buyer. We will add your name, address and email to the list of people to avoid. Furthermore, to alleviate an impact of your unfair feedback, we reserve the right to use your personal information to resell to advertisement channels. Now it is your turn to decide if our company deserve your blame for lack of Buy.com response." Unless I remove this feedback they will sell my personal information.

I ordered the Garmin Street Pilot 2720 because the price was very good. Their website malfunctioned and two orders were submitted. When I got verification for two I contacted them immediately (within 5 hours) to cancel one order. They shipped two orders anyway and then demanded I pay the $150.00 restocking fee plus shipping if I wanted to return the one I didn't order. My main complaint was how rude, unprofessional and accusatory they were. They denied any responsibility for the malfunction, told me three times "we can't read your mind." Ironically because of their exorbitant shipping costs I would have got a cheaper deal on Amazon.com. They charged me two separate shipping charges even tho they shipped both items together. They were so nasty and rude, I decided to donate the second one to a hospital charity's silent auction rather than try to deal with them again. I did file a complaint with Paypals (they were no help) and my credit card company.

BEWARE. I'm a soldier trying to order a GPS. I e-mailed them prior to the order to check inventory and process. Behold, it 'changed' when I ordered (67 units sold out immediately), and I was told it was my fault because my shipping address was different. They were rude (see below)as well. Believe the negative comments you've read about on e-pinions.
Here's their response: Having different billing and shipping addresses causes a delay in the order

I am absolutely APPALLED at the way I was treated by their so-called "customer service". When I inquired about the length of time it is taking to get my order, I was met with sarcasm and a foul attitude. My question was not meant to anger or demean anyone; it was just a curiosity. At that point, I was completely surprised and taken aback, not quite sure I had heard the gentleman (and I use that term loosely!!!!) correctly. Not only did he make it clear to me that it was not his problem, but when I asked for a supervisor, HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! Upon my call back, I DEMANDED to speak with his supervisor, and he informed me that he had none (the only employee?? yeah right!), and then threatened to hang up on me again!!! In my opinion, the order could be absolutely perfect, and that would STILL not convince me to do business with this company again. Their customer service is severely lacking, flawed, and for all intensive purposes....non-existent.

My small company purchased 4 Plantronics Headsets for use in our Customer Service Department. We spent approx. $400.
Two months later, each unit started to fade out on us and then ceased working all together.
Their 30 day return policy was shoved in our face, even though the products were clearly used and that was NOT what we purchased.

Very good on-line purchasing experience. Placed order for a radar detector on-line, received immediate email confirmation and tracking information. Package arrived on my doorstep the day promised. I think it took about 5 days with UPS. The item is new, and well packaged. No complaints at all. This merchant's items were slightly more expensive than the "cheaper" on-line merchants, but I have been burned in the past and did'nt want to go through that again. The smooth transaction was worth the little extra for a reputable company. Thank You!

Hostile. Ad had price vendor later claimed was erroneous. I received a cheaper unit. Before breaking shrink wrap, I called the vendor, tried to return it. Vendor insisted it was my fault because I hadn't checked all the fine print, SKU and model numbers, clauses on returns and restocking, etc., He insisted on $71 restocking fee and $50+ shipping charge. I stopped credit card payment. Vendor threatened to report me to credit agencies and send bill collectors. I posted negative review here. After pressure from many others, he agreed to refund price, without restocking or shipping charges. He said person he claims created erroneous ad agreed to reimburse him for restocking and shipping charges. However, before giving me my credit, he insisted that I remove the negative review from this site. (This distorts the ratings on this site--vendor pressures you to remove negative ratings, so don't believe the high averages.)
After I returned merchandise, merchant reneged and recharged my credit card for the $71 and referred the shipping charge to local bill collector, even though he supposedly already collected both of these from the other party. I have filed complaints against this merchant in both Illinois and New York.

An order I placed with Twister Group was canceled by them. When I called to find out why, the customer service rep. was curt and downright rude. I told him I would buy the item elsewhere. He told me that was fine.

I very much liked that the number of items in stock was immediately updated as I was placing my order. This allowed me assurance that the number of items I was ordering was accurate and wouldn't be backordered.
The items arrived very quickly, as requested, and I have already put them into use.
They were brand-new, in excellent condition, exactly as advertised.

The wireless speakers that I received were listed on the website as being ADVENT speakers. The ones that were delivered were branded ACOUSTIC RESEARCH. Model number was the same. After some research, realized that both brands are (WERE) owned by RECOTON. Decided to keep the speakers since they work...even tho I was after the ADVENT model. Very confusing situation

No one at the Twister Group told me, nor was it indicated in the web page, that the package would be delivered requiring a signature; if I had known ahead of time, we could have avoided several phone calls and my eventual personal trip to the UPS office to pick up the package. It was delivered unsuccessfully to my house twice since no one is home at 2 pm on a weekday to accept packages from UPS.
