After shopping around, I came across thinkpaddepot.com and decided to give them a shot. I called at 12 Noon knowing exactly what I wanted (IBM T40, 1.5ghz centrino/256mb/dvd-cdr/30GB) and needed it shipped immediately that day to get to me before a business trip. Initially they said it would take a day for processing, but after asking nicely they met my needs and got the computer shipped out that same day, Overnight shipping, for $40.
The computer arrived in perfect condition, completely sealed as promised and with all of the features advertised. My purchase depended upon them getting the computer shipped that same day, and they were happy to do so and delivered as promised. Needless to say I'm exceptionally satisfied with my experience and would buy from them again in the future.
Make sure to CALL if you don't see what you want listed on the website, as I found several Thinkpad notebooks in stock when I spoke with the sales rep. Their prices are excellent, as is their service.
