Pros: Clean, fresh-smelling laundry Cons: Somewhat costly
Summary: For four generations, the women of my family have selected Tide as their laundry detergent. At first, I chose Tide simply because both my mother and grandmother had used it. But by the time I bought my new high-efficiency, front-loading Maytag Neptune, I ... read more

Pros: Gets clothes clean, fresh smell, excellent stain remover Cons: A bit pricey
Summary: If you are researching for a front loading washing machine or have bought one already, then you know or will soon learn that regular laundry detergent does not work well in a front loading washing machine. Some will say you can use regular laundry ... read more

Pros: ummmmmm...I had a coupon Cons: not superior to others out there.
Summary: Since I had a coupon for Tide, I bought 2x Ultra Tide HE in the Clean Breeze scent. I bought a 100 fl. oz. bottle for $12.96. I hadn’t tried this particular HE Tide, and since it’s pretty much the highest priced out there, I was expecting results. ... read more

Pros: Does the trick in our new HE washer, gives clean and fresh-smelling clothes. Cons: Pricier, never seems to be on-sale at stores like the regular Tide.
Summary: We had to switch to Tide HE because we replaced our old clunker of a washing machine with a shiny, new LG TROMM Steamwasher frontloader. The change was transparent to us. Yes, our clothes are cleaner but I think that has more to do with the new machine

Pros: Cleans clothes great! Cons: P&G needs to come up with a new scent, perhaps GAIN in HE form.
Summary: HE Tide is a great product. When I purchased my whirlpool washer and dryer and started using TIDE, I immediately noticed the difference in the quality of cleaning. HE TIDE removed stains from my son's clothes. I am pleasantly pleased that laundry is

Pros: Have always used and loved Tide until now Cons: Will use regular tide but not using Ultra HE anymore
Summary: We could not figure out what the dryer stink was from whenver it was running anymore...going back to when it started to smell and finally taking the dryer apart to see if there was a dead mouse in it. I finally went back in time retracing to

Pros: cleans well, gets out stains Cons: Fragrance & price
Summary: We have a Kenmore HE4T washing machine. Obviously we have to use the HE detergent. After trying several different brands and getting mediocre results, I decided to try Tide, after reading positive reviews. So far it seems pretty good. It does clean well

Pros: For heavy stains, make into a paste and rub into stain. Cons: Not very effective for "ring around the collar".
Summary: Tide HE works well -- much better than regular Tide in my front-loading machine. My advise: use your own 1/4-cup measuring cup. It will keep you from unnecessarily using too much soap. Tide boxes come with a measuring cup designed for their

Pros: none yet Cons: none yet
Summary: After comparing prices of Tide regular detergent and Tide HE -same 100 oz. bottle-same size measuring cap-seems like you use the same amount? Actually, the # of loads is actually LESS on the HE bottle. Seems like you should be able to get MORE loads out

Pros: Cleans really well in a front-loader. Cons: Costs way too much. Heavy, cloying perfume.
Summary: At $9.49 for a 31-use box of powdered Tide HE detergent, that's just over over 30 cents a use. It cleans very well in my Whirlpool front loader and doesn't oversuds, but that's a lot to pay. I'm not exactly thrilled with the perfume -- I wish it were

Pros: Gets clothes clean. Cons: May make you very itchy if you have sensitive skin.
Summary: Be warned. This detergent and others may make you very itchy - especially in your scalp hair and facial hair and other places that you touch. It could make others in your household itchy too even if they use a different detergent, as there's residue that

Pros: It cleans as well as any other detergent Cons: Simple, its odor is overpowering and irratating.
Summary: I found the "Clean Breeze" smell overpowering. I couldn't wear clothes or use sheets washed with it. So as not to waste money (I have a hundred load jug), I tried just washing the kids' clothes. But it made their room
