| Tivoli Audio raises the bar for home music systems with Henry Kloss' Model Two AM/FM stereo radio. The two-piece design means the matching companion speaker may be placed up to 15' away from the main unit, providing the stereo separation and detailed soundstage which one piece "stereo" units lack. The Model Two is more than simply a stereo version of the Model One. From its handsome new colors (metallic taupe/champagne with cherry wood cabinet) to its redesigned FM stereo tuner and amplifier, we believe it to be one of the best stereo radios available at any price. The Model Two also features a dedicated powered subwoofer out put (for use with Tivoli Audio's Model Subwoofer), a balance control, and a mixing input to mix audio from a computer while listening to the radio. Also new is an auxiliary position added to the front panel source selector knob, making it easier to hear a CD player or other connected device. The bass ports have been relocated to the rear, so as to allow vertical positioning. Unlike the Model One, the Model Two's inputs and outputs are stereo. Built in AM/FM antennae, an external FM antenna connection, and DC input come standard. Dimensions for both the main unit and companion speaker are identical to the Model One. Total weight is 9 lbs. FM wire antenna, 9' power cord, and self-adhesive feet included. |
