A better automatic transmission would have made this vehicle a much better buy. But having to spend $2,200 for a transmission at 100,000 miles is asinine.

I would somewhat recommend the GMC Yukon as a roomy truck with good power and comfortable ride. For the money, the Ford Expedition is a better value.

I highly recommend the Mazda Tribute. For what I paid ($7,800 with 84,000 miles on it) I am extremely pleased with what I get from my vehicle.

If you ever wanted a nice reliable small family SUV this is it. Jeeps are known for dependability and the '01 Cherokee is no exception. This car is exceptional!
