Pros: Seems speedy, looks sleek. Cons: Not much room, not a "real" muscle car. The Bottom Line: This would be great for a single person. But anyone with a family will be cramped.
One of the many purchases my husband made on one of his trips doing cleanup work in Louisiana and Pensacola Florida was a 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS. I have to keep telling myself when he takes a very large log truck to do his clean up he needs ...

Pros: Strong performance with V8 models. Cons: V6 models make the Camaro slower than most family sedans of the same year. The Bottom Line: I do like this car, but I'd save a few extra bucks and go with a 1993 Z28, that comes with better performance, better looks, and a 5.7 LT1 Engine.
The legendary Z28 moniker has stuck with the Chevrolet Camaro into its fourth generation and finally died with the entire Camaro line-up in 2002. Since that magic three figure code "Z-2-8" first appeared in 1967, it has always meant ...

Pros: the look, top performance in driving Cons: doesn't handle well in bad weather, high maintenance
I went through a divorce and needed a new car. I had previously owned a '69 Camaro in which my x-husband and I built from scratch, so my love for the car led me directly to the Chevrolet showroom floor.
It didn't take any persuasion from the...

Pros: Good looks, reliability, performance, luxury, dependability and it's a Chevy! Cons: NONE!
Admittedly, anything I say about a Chevrolet automobile is absolutely biased, my dad works for Chevy, but still, I have driven Camaros ever since I was 17! Time, and time again, I have told friends, "Why get a Mustang, it'll just break down on...

Pros: Chevy. Fast, sleek, powerful. This is the best car. Cons: None that I've noticed. The Bottom Line: Get this car if you get a chance! Not too common, especially with T-Tops. Fun to work on, even more fun to drive...just don't get caught speeding!
I have a black 1992 Camaro RS, 25th Anniversary edition. I fixed it up myself and with the help of my brother, and man does this thing run! It has very good acceleration, and with good tires, it handles wonderfully. I have T-Tops on mine, which is...

Pros: Mustang 5.0L performance Cons: High insurance on both
One of the best rivalries in the sports car market is the one between the Ford Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro. I have owned both of these pony cars and have an opinion on each. Like anything, these two cars have their advantages and disadvantages. I...

Pros: Style, V-8 engine, looks, fast, powerful, low price. Cons: High Insurance, back seats a little small. The Bottom Line: A great car, for the right person.
I bought this car about a month ago, after looking for a while in all the usual places. This is my first car, so I had high expectations, with a low budget. After test driving it a few times, I went to the mechanic to get it checked out. Even with only ...

Pros: Good performance, cheap to maintain Cons: Lacks build quality in places. Not the most practical car.
My Camaro
A few years back, I had the joy of owning a 25th anniversary edition 92 Camaro RS, teal in color. I really enjoyed that car. There are cars out there that are faster, handle better, and with a higher build quality, but there was...

Pros: Quick acceleration, Good handling, Good looks, Relatively low price Cons: Breakdowns, Overheating, Bad gas mileage, Poor visability
Fast, powerful, and fun to drive. However, the expense, aggravation of breakdowns, and price of gas counterbalance these good points.
The Chevy Camero is a classic, low cost "muscle" car. It delivers power and performance in...

Pros: Overall driveability, sleek looks, T-top models offer the best of both worlds. Cons: High maintenance, costly upgrades The Bottom Line: The 92 Camaro is a very good driving car for the long Sunday drives. If you love to drive, then a Camaro is for you!
Where can I begin. First off I would have to thank Chevy for making such a good baseline Camaro. There are a lot of people that think that Camaro's are just a waste of money. I think if you love an American made car that is fun to drive as well as fun to...

Pros: All around great ,fun car Cons: none
I own a '92 25TH Aniv.Edition ,RS convertible ,white with the red Heritage stripes.I just plain love this car w/the 5.0 motor ,it just hums along & gets good gas mileage .With a new computer chip installed ,you floor it at 35-40 mph & its gone .It sits low ,looks mean and has an excellent ride. These cars are very underated. If you find one in good shape I recommend you buy it.You won't be sorry and I predict this car will be a very collectible car in years to come!!!

Pros: Fast, cruises on interstate with no problems Cons: Limited leg room in rear seat.
The only problem I have had with the body or exterior is some peeling of the clear coat. However on a 12 year old car it is to be expected at some point. It looks great. It is sleek and sporty. In my opinion a better body style than the 93 and newer camaro.

'92 Camaro Z28

Pros: Great acceleration, handling, & overall drivability. Awesome look. Cons: Some like '93-newer body. Not an all out muscle car, but great for price.
My 25th Anniversary 350/5.7L V8 Z28 is my first car, so it definitely works for me. This is a great car for any single person or couple, but I would not recommend it for even a small family due to its limited interior space.
I haven't noticed any mishandling in bad weather like some of the other reviews stated. Compared to the other cars I've driven, this car turns exceptionally well.
This car was a fix up job, but luckily parts were easy to find. It performs well and is great for daily driving. The V8 is what makes this car worth the money. That much power in a road vehicle for a low price is just awesome. Of course, there are much more powerful street cars than the '92 Z28, but the prices aren't in the same range for most of them.
Overall, there are better vehicles out there, but the Z28 is well worth having.
