Pros: Sporty image and powerful towing and hauling capacity; Cons: Short bed The Bottom Line: This S-10 Crew Cab is all you ever need for towing your RV and hauling the family to the far away camp site. What else?
Any time is a good time to take the family on vacation. Some of us may want to wait until it gets a bit cooler outside to do so. But, when all the transportation means are available, one may feel a bit impatient. If the small-size RV is parked in the...

Pros: Bang for the Buck, Quiet for a truck, very comfortable Cons: Top gear ratio a little to low, no passenger cupholder The Bottom Line: Really decent truck for the money and I think it will run for a long time without much trouble.
I haven't owned a regular vehicle in too many years for my ego to mention. I needed one, I needed it quick and I needed it cheap. I also needed it to be reliable.
This truck was exactly what the doctor ordered. It was fast coming on rainy...

Pros: Price, Styling, Ride, Nice V-6 Cons: No Crew Cab, Weak 4 Cylinder, Short Warranty The Bottom Line: The 2001 S-10 is not a bad truck, it's just that there are so many better choices when shopping for small trucks. Check out the Tacoma or Ranger instead.
You can't look at this thing and not think of a big Tonka truck. Even though the styling is a few years old, it still looks good - rugged with a bit of class in the rear tail light treatment.
The small truck segment has become more...

Pros: Durable, good gas mileage, sporty Cons: one cup holder and the little piece of plastic The Bottom Line: I love this truck--- but make the little plastic apparatus out of something more durable!!!!! I wish they did not stop making it!
I own a Chevy S10 pick up. It is red with an extended cab. It has the sporty hubcaps, and a fancy smancy bed cover. And the crucial aspect of this little red pick up, it is a step side. I just find step sides so much more appealing than regular trucks. ...

Pros: Good Gas mileage, enough power, sharp looking Cons: Kind of Small The Bottom Line: solid capacity, good power, great gas mileage, great looking truck. A bit small, but oh well
I really like my Chevy S-10 pickup truck. This is the first truck I have owned. I have had two SUV's and several cars, but always wanted to own a pickup truck. I was able to get a really good deal on this truck, and couldn't pass it up.
This...

Pros: comfortable, strong engine Cons: ?
I have recently dumped my 1998 Ford Ranger and picked up a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 Pick-up. (Extended Cab) These two pick-ups are great, but a few things that stick out, and put the S-10 on top are: On the S-10 the standard Vortec 4300 V6 on 4x4 models...

Pros: Mileage: about 22mpg constantly hauling around a bunch of equipment. Cons: Non adjustable clutch. Unnecessary computer chips. Can't roll windows down with anything in door cupholders. The Bottom Line: I like it better than the Ford Ranger. No personal experience with other rivals.
First let me say this is a company truck and I would have known better than to buy it for this area but unless you put on chains it is not at all reliable on bad roads. Its a two wheel drive and doesn't apparently have positive traction because putting ...

Pros: power for towing, interior layout. Cons: low ground clearance.
I purchased this truck in March 2006. It had 35,000 one owner miles. I wasn't looking for another compact truck, but after driving it, I was hooked. The power that the Vortech V6 produces is amazing. The interior is well laid out, and the seat are extremely comfortable.

Pros: MY 4-CYLINDER MODEL ATTAINED 31 MILES TO THE GALLON ON FIRST TRIP. Cons: FOUND NO ITEMS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.
BODY STYLE IS UP TO DATE, COMPETING WITH TRUCKS IN THE $30,000
PRICE RANGE. THIRD DOOR IS VERY CONVENIENT. BED IS JUST RIGHT FOR MEDIUM HAULING. I ADDED A SNAP-ON BED COVER AT VERY LITTLE COST AND MADE IT LOOK $5,000 MORE IN VALUE
