Pros: performance and reliability Cons: none I can think of The Bottom Line: AWD system should be required on all passenger cars. Seatbelts save lives in accidents; AWD helps drivers avoid accidents. Avoiding is far safer than belting up for the collision.
As you can see from the title, this is not a review of the 2007 model, it's a review of the 2008 model. I bought my first Subaru in the late fall of 1989, having moved from Connecticut in January of 1989, arriving in WA with my brand new, Honda ...

Pros: Peppy drive, great handling, lots of cargo room. Cons: Fair gas mileage at best. The Bottom Line: A great car, I'm very happy with it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a roomy, well handling car.
When I decided to trade in my gas-guzzling, completely impractical, hard to park, and just over the top-powered Ford F-150, I knew that I needed something that was roomy, got reasonably good gas mileage, and looked good. I've always liked the look of ...

Pros: Reliability, simply elegant styling, all weather performance, and great pricing. Cons: More straight-line steering input required than normal. The Bottom Line: Reliable transportation, and unique in most areas of the country (except Colorado, Oregon, and Washington).
We purchased the base model Outback Wagon, with the Boxer 4 engine and standard all-wheel drive. While we've only had the car for five months, it is our preferred car to drive (we also own a Mercedes 320 Sportwagon, a VW Passat, and an old Mercedes 420 ...

Pros: Excellent traction and seat material, updated motor is more responsive Cons: Could use a fifth gear in the automatic, needs rear seat air ducts The Bottom Line: This vehicle has quality brimming from the seams. The all wheel drive and raised suspension make the driver always feel in control, despite the weather.
The 2007 model Outback has some substantial improvements that I wish my wife's 2005 had com with when we bought it three years ago. Among the improvements are an MP3 jack in the radio, 17 inch tires, a tidier front end, and a variable valve timing ...

Pros: Great Style, quiet comfortable interior perfect for 140 mile roundtrip Chicagoland commute. Cons: No memory setting for seats & mirrors The Bottom Line: Want to save gas, have fun doing it with style and safety? Yes, Yes, Yes & Yes without sacraficing anything. When this lease is up I'm getting another one.
We had a 1983 Subaru hatchback that we purchased for $1,000 cash in the early 90's. It finally died with 185,000 miles on it but was safe and had all wheel drive. Fast forward to 2007, gas prices are about double and my commute is doubled too. I ...
