A better automatic transmission would have made this vehicle a much better buy. But having to spend $2,200 for a transmission at 100,000 miles is asinine.

If you're looking for something comfortable to drive occasionally and don't mind paying for the gas, go ahead.  Not a good commuter or daily driver.

A greattruck for the money notonly for the fact that it is well made but has a large base of both aftermarket and OEM parts due to F-Series liniage.

Great truck. Extremely tough and dependable. Good mileage. Very EASY to drive. Big windows. Very comfortable. Eddie Bauer editions have beautiful interiors. I love this truck.

I definitely would recommend it for anyone wanting to tow a travel trailer. The V6 has the same mileage as the V8 with less power!
