Pros: Power, roominess, features, reliability. Cons: Some overkill with power options. The Bottom Line: If you aren't self-conscious about image and can get a good-quality used model of this car, you're driving one of the best deals on the road, period.
I decided to buy an Olds Cutlass Ciera due to how much I enjoyed driving them when working in rentals & leasing several years ago. I also found these cars to be an average of $5,000 less and in better condition than used Toyota Camrys of the same model ...

The Bottom Line: given the car present pricing safety features available and sturdy construction this is a ideal first car for teenager or as a second car for a family.
This review is focused on my observations when I sold this car after 200,000 miles and eight years of ownership by my father. This white Ciera “S” was originally purchased used with 29,000 miles from a local new car dealer. Alamo rent a car had...

I recently went to a dealership to trade in my moms 1992 Ford Taurus. I was unhappy with the transmission problems the Taurus gave. I wanted to get a car that would be reliable for my mom.

My parents gave me their Cutlass for my graduation for college. Unfortunately, the mass air sensor went before I graduated. It was about a $600 fix. The good news is, that's the most problems I've had with the car. Sure, there are cars out there that...

several times i have had the chance to drive my friend's cutlass. while it's lightyears better than her now deceased '90 cavalier, the interior annoyances are things i simply cannot get over. the seat simply does not tilt back. and being a 6 ft+...

Solid Car if you take care of it

Pros: Great Reliability
Great Performance Cons: Looks like granny car
Overall the body holds up very well. The only problem I've had with it was caused by the previous owner. That is that the paint is rubbed down to the primer coat in a few spots.
Otherwise I've had no other problems with the body.
As for the engine, the only major problem to be had was a fuel filter and fuel pump that were bad. Otherwise, the engine has run flawlessly. I bought this car because of limited funds to spend on a car, insurance would be reasonable, and I had heard good things about it. I love this car not because of its looks, but its reliability.
If your just starting out at 16 and you need a car to get from point A to point B this is the car for you. If you take care of this car it will take care of you.
