Pros: Room, acceleration, seats, ride and handling (for a large SUV) Cons: Price, gas mileage, Premium fuel, Insurance premiums The Bottom Line: Gas mileage and insurance costs make this a little pricey to drive, but it's offset by a hushed cabin, good handling, roominess and typical Toyota quality.
With two kids, it was becoming readily apparent that we needed more room and our Pathfinder (See one of my prior reviews) was getting a little snug. The boys are both getting into hockey and once you load up the equipment, there wasn't much room, forget...

Pros: V-8; comfort; ride; reliability. Cons: Price; tape pin stripes(!!)
I've owned and enjoyed my '98 Land Cruiser for nearly 2 years and almost 50,000 miles! What a vehicle! In my fickle past, I've been through 5 Scouts, 2 Jeeps, 2 Blazers, a Ramcharger, a Bronco, a Tahoe. The LC puts them all in the shade (of course, it...

Pros: Handles nicely, comfortable, easy to maintain, good gas mileage Cons: Price is a bit high The Bottom Line: If you want a reliable car that is a great investment, but the Land Cruiser. You won't be disappointed.
I purchased my Land Cruiser as a new vehicle in 1998. From the time I drove it off the lot, I knew it was my perfect car. It handles like a dream. The steering is not loose, so it is easy to drive. The automatic transmission makes long road trips...

Pros: Highest safety rating of any SUV. Easy to maintain. Good gas mileage. Very stylish! Cons: A built-in car phone would be nice. The Bottom Line: The Land Cruiser has been around for over 50 years. It is the best SUV on the market you can buy! You can't go wrong with the Land Cruiser!
We purchased our Land Cruiser about one year ago. My wife and family absolute love the vehicle! What a comfortable and luxurious ride! We compared the Land Cruiser with the Chevy Suburban, Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator and drove all of those...
